Playing video games

You was sitting on the edge of your soft, pearl white bed, your legs brought close to your chest and your arms going around them, holding a black controller. Your eyes were glued onto the screen, no concentration was wasted on anything around you since you was in the zone with your game. You would occasionally get up to go to the bathroom and eat food and all the stuff to remain alive but would never speak to anyone around you. You heard a familiar flutter of wings come behind you, but didn't bother to turn around to check who it was, you was stiff except for your hands, them moving at incredible speed.

"Hello Y/N" Castiel, you're boyfriend, said over your shoulder. He expected a response back from you but you said nothing. He got on the bed and sat next to you awkwardly, watching the screen in confusion.

"Why are there people in your screen Y/N? Did Gabriel do this?" He questioned you. Your movements on the controller started to get sloppy and out of time, causing you to die in the game.

"Son of a fucking batman!" You shouted at the screen, as it announced your death.

"Who is this 'batman'? Is he a man that is a bat? A vampire?" He questioned you again.

Your face slowly turned and faced him, giving him an uncomfortable death stare as the death music played. You put the controller down but never broke eye contact with him as you got up and walked over to the screen. You pointed at the red text that spelt 'Died' and your face became more pissed off by each second. Castiel stands up slowly and backs up a bit.

"You did this... You made me die after I spent 12 hours trying NOT to die!!!" You screamed at him. He still looked confused, not understanding the term of playing the game. He shuffled over to the controller and picked it up, examining the controls before pressing the start button, the game starting over again. He sat himself down and pressed a few random buttons, making him not look like a noob. You slowly walked over to him and sat next to him, watching him play your game. After a few minutes of silent playing, his character died.

"Did I win?" He turned his head to you. You couldn't help yourself but chuckle, pecking his lips softly.

"No, you didn't win sweetie, this game doesn't work like that. You go around solving missions for people and you can go on an adventure and slay dragons and go to a magic school." You explained to him. He nodded slightly, handing the controller back to you.

"Teach me how to slay a dragon in this game" He asked in the softest voice imaginable. You started the game up again and taught him the basic steps to killing a dragon, you even taught him how to gain its soul once it's dead.

Once finished, you handed the controller to him and sat in his lap, wrapping your arms around his neck, watching him play. You whispered the instructions again to him when he got confused, making him get flustered. It took Castiel about 35 minutes before he slayed his first dragon. You both celebrated as you grab his navy blue tie and pulled him into a long, passionate kiss for his victory. He kissed you back, leaning down and pulling you on top of him.
