Chapter 8

It was midnight and Monica couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about what happened.

"Why did he kiss me?" Monica wanted to get rid of the thought. She tried to shut her eyes close but it's as if she feels his soft lips on hers. She can remember how he touched her cheeks. She couldn't get Chandler out of her mind. How she wish it lasted longer. She wanted to go to his apartment atleast to have a glimpse of him. How can she miss him so bad yet they saw eachother a couple hours ago?

Joey and chandler's apartment,

Chandler got out of his room because he couldnt sleep either. He sat on their lazy boy chair and remembered that kiss which made him smile. He wanted to go to Monica's apartment but she was probably asleep. A door creaked open. It was joey.

"Hey man, why you still awake?"

"Joe, you're my best friend so i'm gonna tell you something."

"Niice. What is it?"

"I think i'm falling inlovewith someone."

"Are you serious?!" Chandler nodded.

"Don't you think its just like kathy? You thought you were inlovewith her but you werent really."

"This is nothing compared to kathy's. "

"Who is it?"

"I don't know if I can tell. But you know her."

"Does Ross know her?"

"Definately!"

"Give me more."

"I don't wanna."

"Okay. Fine. What is she like? Is she sweet? Is she hot?"

"Oh she's perfect. She's a bit naggy but i love her. I see her everyday but I never realized that she's always been the one who's there for me."

"*gasps* SHE'S ONE OF THE GIRLS ?!"

"WHAH WHY DO YOU KNOW?!" he said in a high pitched voice.

"You said you see her everyday! And by the way, i'm always there for you too dude."

"Why can't she be someone from work?! Well, she took care of me when i was sick. Where were you then?"

"You don't work everyday!"

"Wow joe. Your brain is starting to work."

"Wait a minute...The last time you were sick...hmmm...Mon-moni-MONICA TOOK CARE OF YOU! YOURE INLOVE WITH HER?!"

"SHHHH! SSSHH! SHHHH!!!!!" Chandler panicked.

"Yes. It is monica."

"I can't believe it." Joey whispered.

"How did you know that you were inlove?" he added.

"Remember the other day when we were singing smelly cat and you were on her left and i was on her right, remember when she was holding my hand and moving it up and down with the rhythm? I felt something weird. All of a sudden i just can't thinking about how much she means to me and how perfect she was. I mean, those eyes, those lips.-

"Those boobs" Joey said as he pictured it.

"What the hell man!*he hits him* But that too. Anyways, we were friends since high school. There was always something between us. Maybe i've been attracted to her ever since but just didn't admit it to myself."

"what are you gonna do now?"

"I don't know. But we did kiss."

"You kissed?!"
