Chapter 14

Monica went out to see Chandler was gone.  She sat beside Joey.

Monica: I didn't know it actually meant so much to him. 

Phoebe: We're sorry that we tried to stop you. We want you to be happy. 

Rachel: Yeah. It's just that we'd really miss you and we couldnt imagine living without the two of you guys.

Joey comforted monica and rubbed her back.

Phoebe: You know what? Call him. Tell him you wanna come with him. You might not know it but i'm sure that's what you really want.

Monica:Alright.  I'm gonna go after him.

(Monica dials chandler.)

Monica: Hey. Where are you?

Chandler:(on the other line) I'm here at the coffee house.

Monica: Oh good. Wait for me there.

Monica grabs her coat and goes downstairs. Phoebe Joey and Rachel secretly follows her. When they got there, they looked for chandler.

While they she couldnt seem to see him, kathy wallks by Chandler talks to him. Then monica's eyes caught chandler. She was about to come up to him

Monica: Chandler-

Her heart stopped when she sees Kathy and Chandler kiss.

.As soon as chandler pulls out of the kiss he sees monica standing there. The three friends did not believe their eyes and Monica storms out the coffee house.

Chandler: Wait! Monica! 

He chases after her but didnt reach her. Joey passes by him as he followed Monica.

Joey:I can't believe you'd do this to her.

Chandler: But- 

(Joey walks out on him.)

Rachel: I thought you were different.

She also didnt let him explain and just walked out to follow her friend.

Chandler: You gotta hear me out here!

Phoebe walks out too.

Chandler sees Kathy standing next to him.

Chandler shouted at her: WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT?!

Out of anger, chandler pushes kathy and she cries.

Kathy: I-im sorry. I- i didnt know.

He sits on the couch, frustrated his hands were on his head. He wanted to shout and he wanted kick the table but that wouldn't do anything. Chandler then ran after Monica. When he reached the apartment the door knob was locked so he got his keys.

Chandler: MONICA! MONICA!

Joey: HOW DID YOU GET IN?! YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO GET IN!

Chandler: I live here. Where is she?

Joey: She's in her room. Don't bother her.

Chandler: Is she mad?

Joey: Well whadd'ya think? How'd you end up kissing Kathy anyways?

Chandler: I didn't kiss her. She kissed me! I don't know why Monica's overreacting about this! 

Rachel: Monica's probably not even mad. Maybe she's on her period so she's too sensitive right now. She'll understand. She's smart enough to know the truth.

Phoebe: It's not like your Ross. That guy shoved his penis in another womans vagina!

Rachel: And were still good together right? We did fight but we eventually got over it.

Chandler knocks on her door.

Chandler: Monica! Monica! Open up! Mon!

The door slowly creaks open.

Chandler: I can explain.

Monica: You don't need to. It's okay Chandler. I'm not mad.

Chandler: R-really?

Monica: I just think it would be better off for us to do the things we want. The things that would make us happy. You can go to California if you want to. But I don't think I can come with you.

Chandler: The only thing that would make me happy is that if you came with me!

Chandler hugs her tight.

Monica: It's better if we part ways for awhile. Just focus on our careers. Chandler, its over.

Monica slowly pushes him out the hug.

Chandler: I thought we could work this out?

Chandler's eyes were welling.

Monca: This is for the best.

Chandler's eyebrows furrowed. a tear rolled down his cheek and he wiped it.
