Reason #12 : They'll give you piggy back rides when your feet's killing you !

" We'll have Vintage Porto and Insalata Caprese " Said Eugene.

" I'm sorry for whatever happened , I should have told my son about it." Apologized Sophia.

" No, Sophia, it's fine. I understand Aaron's concern . If I was in his shoes , I would do what he did . He really cares for you ." Said Eugene.

" I know . But that was kinda rude , , what he did. His approach wasn't right." She said.

" Maybe. By the way , is he dating Emily ? " asked Eugene.

" Nah ! They're like brothers and sisters , they basically grew up together , she's family. " Said Sophia.

Eugene nodded.

The waiter served them wine and the dishes they'd ordered.

" Have you told Aaron about his father? ? " Asked Eugene.

Sophia hesitated a bit but then replied , sipping on her wine , "No , I've kept it away from him . I don't want him to think wrong things about his father , I don't want him to know who his father is." Said Sophia.

" But Sophia, it's really not upto you to keep him away from his father. He has a right to know about him? " Said Eugene.

" He knows enough about him Eugene, he abandoned him, he hasn't even called once , nit a birthday card , not a message, there's no looking back for him." Said Sophia.

The moment got quite tense , but then , the band started playing soft tunes on the cello , saxophone , piano , and Eugene and Sophia slow danced .

The lights were turned off and a small canopy of LED light , brightened their path , it almost felt like a movie.

Back home , Aaron was quietly making some calls while Emily was half asleep on the sofa with the tv on.

When Emily heard Aaron curse loudly , she woke up & ran to the room.

" Is everything all right Aaron ? " she asked .

The phone was lying on the ground , broken into pieces .

" No ! Nothing's alright ! None of them know who my father is." He shouted.

" Oh . My . Gosh. Aaron. So.. that was your mission ? I should have known ! " Emily said softly.

She went and hugged him , and softly whispered I his ears , " Why do you need someone who's never been there for you while you have your mom , me , & your friends.

" But I need to see him. I wanna know who my dad is , how he looks , what is his favorite game , what is his favorite dish , for once I wanna have both parents. " he said.

" I understand. But let it go for now . You'll be enlightened with everything about your dad at the right time. " she said.

" When did you start using such wise words ?" He stifled a laugh and asked.

" Since I found a best friend like you. " she said with great pride.
