We stay that way for a long time. Just sitting there. Together.

"Quinnson Seventh. Quinnson Seventh. Quinnson Seventh." I let his name roll off my tongue. He holds me in his arms, similar to when he did in that alleyway a few weeks. That seems like ages ago. I smile up at him and he looks at me, picks me up in his arms and places me on the bed. The two of us lay there, side by side staring at the ceiling. Its a greenhouse ceiling so I can see lots of stars twinkling down at me.

"Scarlette." He whispers my name slowly smiling at me like he wanted me as much as I wanted him. I love the way he says my name, as if its precious.

"I think I really like you Quinnson." I grin at him and touch my lips to his. He ruffles his hands through my hair, gracefully. It feels like nothing else.

"I think I really like you too Scar." I am with him. This is real. I can feel it. Its so different than anything I've ever felt.

"You're my first kiss." I whisper to him and he looks at me. All I want to do is be with him. All day every day.

"Really?" He looks at me nodding, smiling at him in a sleepy way. I am so tired.

I don't know when I fell asleep but when I wake up I am in my own bed and alone. I look around and see my empty room. I am still in my dinner gown. I take it off, putting on one of my other creations a long navy dress that has a v neck and long sleeves that flows and is loose, with white designs on the edges. The dress is really comfy.

I hear a knock at my door but when I open it nobody is there. 'Its not a knock from my door' I realize and grin wide. Its my door in my closet.

I see his face grinning back up at me when I open the flap. I offer my hand while he steps up to my closet. I grin and kiss him on the lips quickly, as if saying good morning. He doesn't hesitate to kiss me back, happily. I break away and grin.

"I don't want to get married." I state out loud and that's when Quinn realizes that I am engaged. He steps away from me as if he is guilty.

"I didn't even realize. Scarlette I am so sorry. I didn't mean to uh..." He trails off, looking at me. I don't let him apologize anymore because I quiet him by putting my finger to his lips.

"I don't care about Ansell. But everything I feel for you Quinnson, is utterly, messily, beautifully, real. That's what I've always wanted. Something real, unlike what we are surrounded by, all I want to do is escape. " I look at him then, watching those pair of faded sky blue eyes processing what I said, word for word. I smile at him just standing in my closet, surrounded by dresses and everything else. That's when I hear Ali come in a say,

"Scarlett? Hello? Ansell's here and I am escorting you." I look at Quinn but he is already down the tunnel and running to his room.

I walk out of the closet, my cheeks flushed from the moment I just had with Quinn. I know that if anyone tries to drug me that he will help me snap out of it.

"Ali. Oh yeah I was just wearing this for a few minutes. It's your job to um, dress me. So yeah I'll get out of your way. " I blush thinking of how Quinn was here moments ago.

"Okay..." She walks into my closet after a second and I relax instantly. I flop onto my bed and lay there until Ali comes out and gets me ready. I wear a long sleeved golden dress that looks like something in a book, one of those that my mom would wear. I think it's perfect and I do a little twirl in the mirror.

"He is waiting for you in the music room." I walk out into the hallway to see my brother talking to a girl. A real one.

"Hello?" I say looking at Kaidenn. He gives me that look of pleading and then it hits me. This is the person Kaidenn is going to be engaged to. It's the princess of the Aeris imperium, princess Annabelle. She looks beautiful, dressed in a bronze dress that goes perfectly with her wavy milky brown hair flowing around her. Her eyes are almost a bronze color, with just a tiny bit of feeling of metallic in them.
