Kia POV
I walked into first period late. I looked at Emmy and she was working on our project.
"Hey sweetie" I said sitting down
"Hey boo how you doing" she said helping me with my stuff
"Good just taking one day at a time. I'm going have to get a job soon these bills not going pay themselves" I said truthfully
It's been hard since my moms died. Things been different and I'm slowly getting used to them.
"True but if you need help all you got to do is call me your know that right" she said
"Yea I know" I said
She smiled and hugged me.
"Hey after practice you want to help me clean out my mama room" I said
"Of course I would" she said
"Cool thanks" I said helping with the project
"Anytime" she said
"So how are yall" I asked
I know Emmy don't like me asking about her and Lee but I have to, I got to make sure that she don't hurt my baby. I'm always going love Emmy even if she does decide not to be with me when we get older.
"We ok" she simply said
"You know I don't mind talking about her, as long as your happy I'm happy remember that" I said truthfully
"Thanks for understanding Kia" she smiled kissing my cheek
Time went on and class was over. We got up and walked to the gym. I said wassup to Champ he was looking better and better everyday. I can't believe his family just abandoned him like that. But deep down inside he knew we was his real family.
I got dressed and went out into the gym. Coach wasn't here today so we had a free day off the hard ass exercises.
Me and Emmy played 2on2 against Ava and Keisha. We beat the ass twice and they was mad. After a 3rd game we showered and got dressed. After, we went to lunch and watched all the ratchet people and talked about them. We was a family, a dysfunctional family but we was a family.
The day went on as usual. Practice was good. After Emmy met me at my house after I got Tre and GiGi.
I opened the door to the house and went to my room with Emerald following.
"Where the food at" Emmy said taking off her shoes
"Right there" I laughed pointing at her feet "Them corn chips" I screamed laughing
Emmy looked at me but deep down she know she wanted to laugh.
"Look don't do my toes the don't stink and they pretty" she rolled her neck
"What ever you say" I said getting up
I took off my shirt and gym shorts and grabbed a towel. I wanted to take a quick shower before I cleaned out the room because it was going to take a while.
I walked to the restroom and turned on the water. After a while I stepped in and the hot water ran down my body. As I washed myself I couldn't help but think of Emmy's body on mine.
