Chapter Two

When we get to the park,I look around and realise that Tyler was right.

There was literally nobody here but us,And there was a huge fountain in the middle of the park.

I let Max and Lola off their leashes and sit down on one of the benches,Watching them chase each other....obviously very happy to be finally running free.

Ryan and Tyler aren't paying attention to me and are deep in conversation,Laughing and being loud and obnoxious.

Ugh.

"I'll be back in a sec, I need to take a piss" I hear Ryan say and I roll my eyes.

Tyler just laughs and points to where the toilets are and Ryan runs off.

I look around to see where Max and Lola are,And they're in the fountain splashing water everywhere and I can't help but smile at them.

"Hey" I hear a voice say and when I turn around,Tyler is sitting on the bench next to me.

"Hi" I say shyly and he smiles.

"I've been talking to your brother all evening and I never even got the chance to talk to you" he looks into my eyes and this time,I don't look away.

I take time to really take in his features,Since he's never been this close to me.

His eyes are a light blue,And they're honestly the first thing you'd notice about his appearance because they're so bright and beautiful.

His hair is jet black, and sticks up in a kind of messy way but it just makes him look even more good looking.

When he smiles,He shows off his perfectly white,straight teeth.
And his dimples which are honestly,The cutest thing I've ever seen on a guy.

His face is clean shaven,Showing off his perfect face.

He's honestly flawless.

After a few minutes,I realise that he actually said something to me,And I've just been staring at him like a mad woman and my cheeks instantly blush.

"I uh..." I stutter and I really wish I wasn't so awkward all the time.

"You're cute when you're nervous" Tyler smiles but he instantly looks away,Obviously not meaning to say that out loud.

"I'm nervous all the time" I laugh trying to make it less awkward but of course it doesn't.

"Exactly" he smiles and looks at me again,This time scooting closer to me.

I shift uncomfortably,anxiously waiting for Ryan to return.

How long does it take to fucking piss?

I thought boys pee fast?!

We sit in awkward silence for a few minutes until Tyler decides to break it.

"Can I have your number?" He blurts out randomly and my eyes widen.

He takes in my reaction and speaks again.

"I mean uh, Incase I need to get in contact with Ryan about the party tomorrow" he rubs the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Why didn't Ryan just give you his number?"

"He did,But y'know,just incase,I mean you don't have to I shouldn't have even asked cause it's weird isn't it? I'm sorry I didn't mean to"
His words coming out in a complete rush and for once,I'm glad he's awkward too so I'm not the only one.

"Yes you can have my number" I say bravely and he lets out a sigh.

He hands me his phone and I give him mine and we both type each others numbers in.
