"So........ um how did you survive?" He asked.

I shrugged "Preparations and that kind of stuff." I said looking at him.

He nodded. "How did you survive? You don't seem like the type that might survive in this kind of situation." I said.

He chuckled " I was the first to leave campus and the first one to receive a zombie attack." He said.

"So where are you headed?" I asked him changing the subject.

 "Columbus you?" He asked .

 I shrugged " I don't know yet." I whispered.

He nodded and looked away from me.

I sighed and looked back up the road.

I saw a pair of headlights coming towards us and I panicked swerving the car to the right and slamming the brakes.

The air bags flew out and hit us.

I felt the wind knocked out of me as I felt crushed.

I pushed the air bag out of my face and looked for the guy.

I looked at the windshield and saw a big hole in it.

I ran out of the car and to the guy.

His forehead was covered in blood and I hurried back in the car to get the first aid kit I had.

I grabbed a cloth and dabbed his head with it.

I lifted him onto my lap and looked up when I felt a light on me.

The car parked in front of us and I felt myself get scared as the minutes passed by.

The door finally opened and I squinted throught the dark to see who was there.

The guy walked up to us and looked down at us.

 I looked up at him.

He was wearing a old worn cowboy hat with a jacket.

His head looked shaven and he looked at least decent in those ridiculous clothes.

 "Who are you?" I asked.

"Talahassee what's wrong with him?" He asked a country accent in his voice.

I looked down at Columbus and saw that he was barely concious of what was going on.

"Oh I thought I was going to crash with you so I pulled over, and sort of slammed the brakes and he flew out the window." I said blabbing on.

He nodded and pushed me away.

I looked at him dumbfounded as he pulled Columbus up in his arms and carried him up an into his truck.

"Get your stuff and his,you don't want to be walking at night with him all injured. The zombies would kill you before you have a chance of running away." He said.

I nodded and ran to the car.

I grabbed all the stuff from the car and he ran over and helped me.

I opened the back of the car revealing my whole supply of guns.

He whistled and grabbed a few of the guns and carried the guns to the truck.

When we finished he closed the trunk and got in the truck.

I got in the backseat and lifted cloumbus head into my lap and conitnued trying to take the blood off of his forehead as we sped away.
