I turned on the car and sped away as fast as I could.

I should have never stopped to get something to eat , I was so careless!

How stupid am I?

I just couldn't have waited until morning.

"God, I'm so stupid."I said out loud.

I sighed and turned up the music in my car.

But for some weird reason my hand reached out for the radio.

I don't know what I thought would happen.

But all I heard was static from channel to channel.

It was no use everybody was gone.

I turned the radio off abruptly and put a cd inside the car.

I turned the volume back on and breathed in shakily.

"Just breath." I said to myself.

 Sometimes I couldn't take it.

All my life I've been around people and they've always been there for me but now there's nobody.

Well, except that guy I just left behind.

"Hey!!!!!"I heard a voice scream out.

I stomped on the break and looked around.

"Hey!!!!" I heard the voice again closer.

I looked to my left and I saw the same guy that I had just left.

"Hey!!!!!" He screamed again and ran towards the car.

He opened the door throwing a suitcase inside and scrambled to get in the car.

He closed the door quickly and he just breathed in and out shakily.

I looked at him curiously and then looked back ahead on the road and drove.

The guy scrambled to put his seat belt on and when he finally did he glanced at me.

He looked kind of surprised to see me.

"Weird question but did you happen to go to Rice Univeristy?" He said looking me up and down.

"Yeah why?"I asked looking over at him.

"I know you, you're Ella right?" He said realizing he knew me.

"Yeah, do I know you or something?" I asked.

The guy blushed and looked away for a second.

"Probably not, I was a loner in college." He said.

I waited for him to say more but when he didn't I turned up the volume on the car.
