He's alive

I sighed as the sun started rising and I pulled out my sunglasses from my backpack putting them on. I looked down at Columbus. He was still unconsious from the accident and if it weren't for m checking his throat for pressure every few seconds I would have believed he were dead. I grabbed a blanket and covered Columbus with it. As I finished tucking him in I felt a weird vibrating sound come out of my backpack. I searched for the buzzing thing and ended up finding my phone. My phone was ....ringing! Somebody was aive and was trying to contact me! We weren't the only ones alive. I was just about to answer my phone when I felt a strong hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Talahassee staring at me. "Don't answer it Ella it could be a trick." He said I nodded sadly and waited until my phone stopped vibrating. I dumped my phone back in my backpack in dissapointment and sighed maybe we were the only people still alive. I checked Columbus's bandages and replaced them again. I still had his head in my lap and even tough I didn't know the guy for long I still felt something strong for him. Maybe because he was the only other guy or person that was in my school and really didn't annoy me much.Maybe it was because he just seemed like a nice guy. I stroked his cheeck slowly and brushed his hair off of his eyes. I suddenly felt him stirring and I almost jumped in suprise. I took off my glasses and looked down at him. He squeezed his eyes and stretched. He finally opened his eyes and saw me looking down at him. He jumped out of my lap and scooted away from me. His hands were on his head. He kept on rubbing his head. I scooted closer to him and took his hand away from his face. "You'll mess up your bandages. Don't touch them." I said. He gulped and nodded. I scootd away from him and grabbed a water bottle from th cooler and handed it to him. He took it and shakelly gulped down a bit. "What happened?" He asked. I sat there in shock. "You don't remember?" I managed to choke out. He shook his head. I gulped and looked away from him. I had to tell him.
