Hey Miranda

I dug my face deeper into my pillow as my annoying alarm decided to wake me up. With a loud groan, I rolled out of my comfy solace and dragged myself to the bathroom to get ready for another boring day in hell. I quickly showered as fast as my aching body allowed and dragged on some comfy clothes that were in no sense fashionable whatsoever.

I had gotten up approximately 4 hours ago to jog and do some cardio to loose weight. Why didn't anyone tell me that loosing weight wasn't a walk in the park? Oh wait. I almost forgot, I don't have any friends to tell me anything.

About thirty-five minutes later I pulled up in my school's drive way and hurried to get to first period before the tardy bell rung. The halls, by this time were nearly empty, as most students would've made it to class already. I pushed open the class room door and much to my disappointment, most, if not all eyes were transfixed on me. All the seats to the front were occupied so I had to pass all the jocks on my ways to the back seat. As I had stated before, those jocks weren't very fond of me, so as usual they kicked out their feet into the way to trip me. Being used to this, I skillfully avoided them and made my way to the seat. While passing them, I heard them snickering.

" I'm sorry for whoever her mate is, hopefully he'll leave her sloppy ass behind", said Sebastian, who was the vice- captain of the football team. His friends nodded in agreement with him and some even laughed along with him. I didn't pay much attention to the comments that followed , but I must say that one did dig a little too deep for my liking.

The captain of the football team was a fine ass and also the soon to be alpha of my pack. I really needed to stop ogling him because soon I would find my mate and he would find his too. Well, its not as if he even pays me any attention. Hell! I doubt he even knows I exist.

You might be confused as to how I can talk to my wolf and I haven't found my mate as yet. You see, I'm not a mature wolf as yet even though I should be. I am able to speak to my wolf in my head even though I haven't shifted as yet. I've asked her many times what the problem with me is, but every time she would either tell me that I'll soon find out or ignore me completely.

I heard laughter surrounding my ears and looked up only to find Mr. Jackson, my math teacher, snapping his fingers repeatedly in front of my face. Whoops. I guess I've spent too much time in La- La land. I felt my cheeks heat up under his intense stare much to my dismay.

" Can You answer the question now?" Mr. Jackson asked.

"Aweeee... Well... Um...You see... Um...Yeah..." was my dumb reply, earning another round of laughter from my oh so wonderful classmates. Note the sarcasm.

"Principal's office now!!"

"Yes sir". I bowed my head as I rushed to the door, trying to avoid any further embarrassment.

I hurriedly walked down the halls trying to find the principal's office. I haven't been sent to his office since... well...never. I wasn't one to get in trouble regularly or at all, so I had a bit of trouble to get there.

While on my way, I suddenly felt a surging pain travelling up my spine and emitting throughout my entire body. I dashed towards the entrance of the school and headed towards the woods, the only place I could seek solace. Luckily they decided to build the school near the woods seen as though all of the students and teachers were werewolves. The idea of getting in more trouble didn't even cross my mind as I headed to the forest.

I ran for what seemed like hours but in reality was just merely a few seconds. Another surge of pain emitted from my spine and I collapsed onto the shrubs. Pure pain was consuming my body as I heard the cracking of bones and a heart wrenching scream. I didn't know that the sound was coming from me until I realized that no one else was here with me.The pain eventually started to subside and so did my consciousness.

I jolted awake upon hearing the rustling of leaves. My limbs groaned in disagreement with my actions  but I ignored it and surveyed my surroundings only to see that it was just a rabbit hopping around in the bushes. With that confirmation, I rested my head back on the ground.  I gazed up at the trees and the sky and wondered when did my parents change the decor of my room. I jumped up upon realizing that this wasn't my room, only to land on four paws. I lowered my gaze to my body and noticed that I had dirty blonde fur with multiple white streaks and a tail wagging behind me.

I started to freak out instantly until I heard the calming voice in my head once more repeating comforting words. About a minute or two after, I had calmed down and Miranda, my wolf, started to explain what had happened to me. As she went on about the events that took place yesterday after I was told to go to the principal's office, the memories came flooding back piece by piece.

"Can I see how you look?" I asked her.

"Yeah sure", she agreed as she led me to a near-by spring to see her reflection as she was now in control of my...well her body. I think you get the jist. She bowed her head to give a better look. I stared in awe at her beauty. She was definitely a wonderful sight. She was a dirty blond wolf with multiple random streaks of white and black, light green eyes and perky ears.

"See, I told you that you would soon find out 'what is wrong with you'. You are a special and rare kind. You've been given powers that others may only dream of. No one is to find out about this except our mate and loyal pack members. If you allow others to know of this, they will try to kill or hold us hostage to use our power to their advantages, so be careful", Miranda told me.

I've never felt so excited and scared at once in my entire life before. Until I remembered I needed to be at school. SHIZ-KAZOOLO!! I'm in deep shit.
