Chapter 12

Elena's POV
I was eating breakfast and texting aria if she would pick me up.me and the girls were going to the movies today because we wanted to go out and spend time together.

Kat walked down the stairs and entered the kitchen were I was."hey Kat".I said.she just looked at me in a weird but angry look then grabbed a granola bar and went out the door."what was that all about".I said to myself.

Katherine's POV
I was angry at Elena for telling Jason that I took that note from Roman.it was none of Her business.I was going to hang out with aria and the girls today but I can't go to the movies with them since I have a.....date?

I was getting ready to go with the girls when I heard my phone buzz.it was a text from Aria.

Aria:We're outside your house
Me:I'll be outside in 5

I quickly grabbed my phone,keys and purse and ran out the door.I saw the girls in the car and got inside.

"Hey girls".I said.they all said hey back except Elena.it was probably because she realized why I ignored her this morning.

We arrived at Emily's house and went inside to her room.I sat on the window stand and Hanna sat next to comfort me since I told her about me and Jason's break up.

2 hours later

"I have to go guys".I said."where are you going?" Hanna said."oh..um...I'm meeting up with a friend".I said and they all started giggling.

"You got over Jason fast".hanna said.I just shook my head and went out the door.

I went to my house and put on a white backless dress,a jean jacket,and my black high heels.I looked myself in the mirror and was impressed with how it came out.

Just as I was about to leave,I got a phone call.it was Roman.

Me: hey are you ready?
Roman:um..I actually have to go out of town.like..for good.

My face went blank.then I just hung up and ran upstairs,got changed into my pajamas and started taking my makeup off while confused and angry.

When I was done taking my makeup completely off,I decided to go get a bag of ice cream from the fridge and some movies like the notebook.

I went downstairs and heard some voices coming out of the kitchen.i just went in there not caring who was there but then I saw Damon, Stefan and Elena sitting on the stool in the kitchen.

I decided not to say anything and just get my ice cream but Elena thought it was cute to start a conversation about how I looked.

"Kat are you okay? You look terrible".I just gave her a death glare and said,"not in the mood Elena"."someone's in a bad mood" Damon said and Stefan started smirking.

"Will all of you just leave me alone...Like forever?" I said and went up the stairs.

Elena POV
"What's up with her?" Damon asked."her and her boyfriend broke up",I said.

"I'll go check on her" Damon said with a huge smirk on his face."wait a second...did you do what I think you did".stefan asked.I was confused.

"What did you do?"I asked Damon."you compelled her boyfriend to break up with her didn't you?" Stefan said and now everything made sense.

Katherine POV
I went up the stairs and listened to their conversation to see if it was about me for a little and when I heard Stefan say compelled,I was confused.

but I knew that Damon did something to make Jason break up with me and I'm gonna find out what he did.
