People tell me that middle school
is some of the worst years of your life
filled with hatred and jealousy
every day a storm of teasing and turning back back
people tell you what you can and can't do
tell you who and what to be
how is it things changed so quickly
from innocents, to this
life becomes more difficult
as it switches
there is no way to avoid it
that would simply make it worse
