I cry myself to sleep
because of you
I almost went under
because of your words

I grieve the loss of my sanity
and the strength of my confidence
I can feel my soul dispersing
because of your influence
little do you know
I was a different person
before I met you
I was once filled with joy and vigor
that is now a distant memory from the past
little do you know
who I am on the inside
the weakness that is concealed by the strong facade
what you have done to my mind
has left it tarnished and tainted
little do you know
I no longer believe in trust
because beliefs mean nothing to you
all that I once valued
has been lost with no one to find it
