--riley--

she pulled away from him and blinked slowly.

"wow." she smiled. Daniel chuckled and stroked her hair.

"Riley...was there a spark?" Daniel raised his eyebrow.

"I...I...Okay well...It felt like I was kissing my brother." Riley's left eye twitched in nervousness.

"Yeah, I felt the same thing." Daniel smiled and bit his lip.

"I have to get back with James," Riley sighed and Daniel nodded. "but, Daniel, promise me this." Daniel raised his eyebrows. "Follow your dream and go to Juilliard, because you're good enough. I know you are." Daniel smiled and hugged riley gently. "And promise me this: we'll stay friends and you'll make up with the next step." Daniel sighed.

"Okay then." He grinned. "Brother?"

"Sister." Riley smiled and they pinky swore. 

"Now go get James back!" Daniel chuckled and pushed her shoulder gently. Riley got up and just before she left Daniel held her arm. "Hey, do you know where chloe is by any chance?" Daniel said shyly.

--james--

he paced the floor and wiped away the tears streaming down his eyes. he lost the girl he loves for probably the final time, he knew she was never coming back. he sat with his head between his knees and sighed sobbing softly.

"hey..." a soft voice whispered, James' bloodshot eyes glanced up and saw Riley with tears running down her face. She knelt down and kissed his forehead. 

"I'm sorry Riley." James whispered. "You deserve someone better than me." he frowned and shoved his hand across his face.

"But James, I love you." Riley smiled and held him. "And I know that and I want to know whether you love me...and I wasn't sure." she sighed, James wrapped his arms around her. 

"But it was seriously wrong of you to say that about Daniel." She muttered and stood up. 

"You mean the Daniel that BETRAYED THE TEAM!?" James yelled and got up. "Riley if you care so fucking much for him go and date him!"

"GUESS WHAT? I ALREADY TRIED THAT." Riley shrieked.

"THEN WHY ARE YOU CRAWLING BACK TO ME AND GIVING ME ALL THIS SHIT IF YOU'RE HAPPY WITH DANIEL?!"

"JAMES. HE APOLOGISED TO ME AND SAID HE WAS GOING TO START OVER!" Riley breathed. "Don't you think he deserves some sort of chance after being rejected time and time again... don't you remember when Daniel liked me?" 

"Yeah..."

"Then why do you still hate him? I mean Eldon has every right but you-"

"BECAUSE I DON'T WANT TO LOOSE YOU." James screamed. "I HATE YOU SO MUCH!" James punched the wall as a shock of pain flowed through his arm. 

"I love you too much." James muttered and wiped his tears away. 

"I love you too ass hole." Riley bit her lip. they paused and James wrapped his arm around her waist gently.

"I love you riley." He whispered and pulled her towards him gently. he kissed her softly and slowly.

"Love you too." Riley smiled and rested her head on his shoulder.

QUICK AUTHORS NOTE.

hey guys! JILEY IS BACK! I've been waiting to write this scene for so long it's not even funny. After a few chapters this story will go on a bit of a planning scheme where i probably won't write very much, so it'll basically be on a hiatus. I will continue the story from this authors note though, switching to Michelle's POV and it's just going to be a bunch of Micheldon cuteness and junk...maybe i might just publish it here and leave you guys hanging...
