Niall's POV
I was going back into the kitchen to see Aibh again. As I walked to the door, a familiar ring-tone came from my pocket; "Settle down with me, cov-"
"'Ello?" I spoke as I hit the call button.
"Ni, it's me mate." said a familiar, raspy, deep voice from the other end of the phone.
"What is it Harry?"
"I know you're enjoying your week off bu-" The line went dead.
Wow, that was weird. I shrugged it off and put my phone back in my pocket. I continued back to the kitchen. When I walked inside the brightly-lit room, Aibh had her earphones in, she hadn't noticed me come in. I sneaked over to her, grabbed some pasta from the pot and plopped it onto her head. She shrieked "Oh, It's ON Horan!" with that she took the pot of spaghetti sauce and emptied it on me. I smirked; "Nice." I went to the cupboard and took out a can of baked beans, before I had time to open them a smelly, gooey substance was poured down my back. I turned around to face Aibh and was greeted with a large spray of whipped cream. I gave up, it was clear Aibh would win.
Aibhlinn went back to the fridge and began taking out salad and tomatoes. She turned round to look at me, "Well, you ruined our dinner so the least you could do is tidy up the kitchen."
"Yeah right, like I ever 'tidy'," I said as she threw a dish cloth at me. When I just stood there she gave me a stern look. Sometimes she acted like my mother. I obediently began to clean up the mess.
People in my position right now would probably feel awkward because we sat in silence for about 10 minutes but Me and Aibh, never feel awkward. I guess it's because we've known each other so long. I watched her chop the tomatoes for a while, she seemed so contented. I wish I could just tell her how I feel about her, but it would make our friendship wierd, or it would ruin it all together. Icouldn't let that happen. She turned around and looked at me, her dark eyes met mine and for a moment I was lost for words. Aibh really was.. something else. She was amazing, she was flawless she was- my train of thoughts was interupted by a small voice.
"Ni! Stop staring at me like that, it creeps me out." I laughed at her and she smiled at me.
Aibhlinn's POV
"Ni! Stop staring at me like that, it creeps me out." I said, not breaking eye contact with him. He had been staring at me for a long time. His laugh echoed around the small kitchen, that laugh literally gives me goosebumps. Not in a weird way or anything, it sounds so genuine, and it is the best sound in the world.
"So, since I only have a week left here," Niall began. I nodded, "Let's go out tomorrow, what do you say?"
"Yea, that sounds good," I smiled, "where will we go?"
Niall just smirked, "I have an idea."
