Chapter 3: Pie's Night Out

Pie POV

Mom eventually agreed to let me go in Reem's boyfriend party after a hundred times of begging & convincing her. For the first time I lied to my parents telling them I'll go for sleepover at Reem's. Dad will drop me to my bestfriend's house to be real. The party girl said she has already prepared a dress for me but i dont wanna wear it anyway.I'd prefer wearing my tee & pants. I dont wanna stress out myself thinking on what to wear. Anyway, she's the one insisting that I should go, not me. I just love my bestfriend though. She was the only person except my parents who stood by me despite of what I am. She treats me like her real sister. Maybe because she doesnt have a sister but one brother. I remember when I was in first grade. Everybody of us was new. I am so shy that I prefer to sit on the corner at the back. When a girl, Reem tap me at my shoulder. 'Are you alone'? She said
I said yes and from there she introduce herself and keeps talking. For the first time someone had made me laugh. And since that day, we became even more closer. We go to the same scool in highschool and college, so here we are.

'Pie are you ready? Come on I'll take you now to your bestfriend's house.'

'Yes dad, I'm ready'! I'm coming.'

It's 7:00pm and the party starts at around 9pm. I am actually nervous since it's my first time to attend a party but also feel excited. Will I meet new friends? Will they be interested to know a boring person like me?

'Darling, come home before lunch tommorrow okay. Your Mom will miss you.'

'Ok Dad. Just for one night, I'm not going anywhere.'

'We're here. Extend my regards to Reem's parents.'

'Bye Dad. Thanks for letting me go at Reem's boy- I mean, sleepover.'

REEM'S POV

'Hi Besty! Atlast you're here! I'm so excited'!

Pie was like a sister to me since first grade. We have many things uncommon but it didnt hinder us from getting close. Many admires Pie because she does not only have the brain but she was also blessed a beautiful face. A shiny straight hair, a fair soft skin, well-shaped legs and body and perfect white teeth. Even if she don't wear a make up she still looks stunning. Her innocense made her more attractive. But she himself do not recognize her beauty. She lacks confidence because she outgrow treated like a baby by her parents. They were strcict and protective when it comes to Pie that made her rely everything to them. She don't have friends but me. In fact, if I didn't insist to be her friend on first grade maybe until now she is alone with no friends at all. Lots of boys admire her, but only few of them has the courage to get near her. Pie never talk to anyone in school. Many are trying to catch her attention but she is like this, I was just lucky that she gave me a chance to be her bestfriend. But despite her simplicity and meekness, she is one of the most popular subject in school which she is unaware and unmindful of.

Tonight I am excited not because of my boyfriend but the fact that my bestfriend is with me on a party for the first time! I already prepared a dress for her which I am sure she will unhappy when she see it but I will use my power so she won't have choice but wear it.

Here we go, we still have 2 hours to prepare ourselves!

'What?! You will let me wear that dress?' Can I just go with my tee & pants? It's more presentable than wearing that pink off shouldres dress.'

I told you guys, she will disagree with the dress. She was not use to it.

'Pie no one goes to a party like that. Please leave everything to me. We already had a deal with this. I want you to experience a real party because we don't know when will be the next time. Come on this is your first and last experience so why not make the best out of it Besty?'

'No, Id rather not come if you insist that I wear that dress. I won't be comfortable wearing that, you know it.'

'I know. I just want you to be different even just a while. You will look great in this dress.'

' Reem please do not force me with things I am not use to, I'll do anything you want just not this dress.

'Okay fine. But we can not enter the party without a proper attire Pie. So, will you please just wear it and when we are inside you can change your dress to whatever you want. Deal?'

'This is insane. Do I really have to do this?"

'If you love your bestfriend please do it. Just for a minute wearing that dress Pie. Please??

'Okay, okay! But I should bring my dress with me so I can change as soon as we're inside.'

'Shoot!'

Pies's POV

Oh my God, this is the most uncomfortable feeling I ever experience!
How on earth did I allow my bestfriend to let me wear this kind of dress, put make up and curl my hair!
I look like a prostitute.

' You look awesome Besty!' You're more beautiful now. I'm sure lot of boys will drool on you and girls will envy you.'

'Stop it. I just want to change my dress as soon as we arrive.Keep driving fast.'

'Wait! Did you bring your dress with you?'

'I told you to put it in the car! Don't tell me we left it in the house??'

' I'm sorry, I forgot. I'm too busy thinking about my boyfriend.'

' Oh no! It's your fault slut. Can we go back and pick it up?'

'No, we are already late, Danny is already calling me hundred times. If we go back, the party will be finish after we arrive.'

'So I will wear this stupid dress until we go home?'

'It's better than being naked Besty, right?'

I hate that smile! I know she planned this.Grrrr!

'Here we are! Keep smiling. Forget about your worries tonight. You are too beautiful in your dress. Keep your head up high.'
