Shatter

Just like the rain whispers

Painful secrets in the ears of earth

This depression taunts me

And loots me of happiness and mirth

Like the rain's torturous absence

In the form of an agonising drought

Optimism leaves me drowning

And I forget what all I'm about

Like a child's heartbreaking cry

When he's taught a lesson he doesn't wish to learn

I beg the monsters to show me mercy

But they smile sadistically and let me burn

Like the sea waves clashing against each other

I'm always in a constant battle

And like everything else in nature

I am born, and then, I Shatter
