You're not pretty, you're ugly, you're not important. Jane gets those comments everyday until Mal changed her hair. That's when Mal turned her hair back, she got those comments again.
She had to do hours of make up to be beautiful. She looks at those models on the magazines. She sobbed every night because she can't be as beautiful as the other princess's.
Audrey was back at it again. "Look at you," Jane started to shed a tear. She knew what they were going to say. "L-leave me alone."
That didn't stop them. "You always look like a dead rat. With your short hair, poor fashion skills, and you are a fat pointless person! I am sorry that you can't be a princess like me!" All of the princess's walked away laughing.
This time it hit her hard. Lonnie saw her crying as hard as ever. She butted in "What's wrong?" she asked. Jane felt alone, hurt, and unloved. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" she yelled. She ran to her dorm, crying. She had an idea.
When was the phase she didn't get bullied? When Mal styled her hair, with magic! Maybe she can get Mal to do it again!
Excited, she ran to Mal's and Evie's dorm room. She knocked on the door. No answer. She realized it was open. "Mal can you-" nobody was there. Mal's spell book was there, lying on her bed. It was telling her to open it. This is the only way to not be picked on.
She opened the book to the page where the spell rested. It felt so wrong, but so right!
"Beware, forswear, replace old hair with cool new ha-"
"Hel- Jane?"
The voice was Carlos, that boy she liked. Ever since he asked for a dance with her, and they're hands touched, she felt a spark.
"C-Carlos! What are you doing here?" she stuttered. Carlos was confused. "What are you doing with Mal's spell book?" Jane started to cry. He didn't know what was going on. He doesn't know that she is getting bullied. "To make myself beautiful." she replied.
"I don't understand. I don't understand why are you making yourself beautiful, when you already are." Those words warmed her heart. She kissed Carlos on the lips. She felt that spark again. "Thank you!" she mumbled.
After that, she gained more confidence, listened to her mother's advice, ignored the haters, and threw that beauty stuff away.
