I slammed the door shut after exiting Lily's house. How could she do this? Seriously? Between all those poeple it had to be that jerk? I let out a sigh when I realise I can't tell Lily about him being the McDonalds guy.
Seriously how many faces can someone have?
The way Lily described him, I almost got a crush on him...nah i didn't ...yeah yeah you did
I walked faster as I heard footsteps and Lily's voice behind me. Damn it. Why the hell did I SLAM the door? Cuz you are stupid? Is he with her too? Did he come out just to come after me? Its because of Lily idiot.
"Carla wait! Where the hell are you going?? You weren't intruding or anything! We were just kidding around! Seriously Carla you know I can run and catch up with you if I want! So stop walking and lets just go to my place!"
I stopped as I realises she was right. This had to be talked through ...plus you know she could catch up with you easily if she tried...
As I slowly turned around, afraid that The McDonald's Guy would recognise me and tell Lily about me, I faced the two. I first looked at the figure next to Lily. His eyes widened for a millisecond though they went back to normal just after that. His eyes lost focus and instead wondered around , guessing that he was deep in thought I went on to Lily. I hugged her "sorry Lily, I'm just a bit moody today. I do stupid things . You know after all of today's events and all that."
"Yeah yeah. Don't worry about that. I was just scared you would do something stupid honestly" she says as she giggled.
Not being able to keep my eyes off Troye I kept looking his way. Did he really not recognise me? Is he thinking so hard because he thinks my face is familiar and he is just trying to remember who I am? Do I look that different without makeup? Damn why do you even care? Right...
We started walking back to Lily's as she spoke up again.
"So since you ran away,I didn't have the chance to get you two to meet" she giggled again " Carla, this is my Golden Boyfriend Troye and this one over here is my BFF Carla. She is really cool to hangout with when you get to know her"Troye held his hand out to me , smiling sweetly. He didn't seem to be faking the smile. It was genuine- I guess.
"Hey, I'm Troye. Her boyfriend" he says, pointing his thumb over his shoulder towards Lily. Lily grinned widely. Ughh seriously?
"Yeah , hi I'm Carla."
After a few questions about when I came to NY and about myself, we finally reached the house and went inside. I was really surprised at how friendly and nice The McDonald's Guy was. Like seriously it's like he is a totally different person to strangers than he is around his girlfriend or his friends.
"You guys just settle down in the living room , you can watch TV or something." Lily yelled as she headed upstairs. So it's you and him alon-
My train of thought were interrupted when I felt something pushing my shoulders and an intense pain in the back of my head as it hit the wall. Shocked,I look up at Troye. He is way too close to me for my liking .
"Look here you loser,"he sneered "I don't know what you have to do with Lily or how you got to befriend her cause the last time I remember she had standards...but it seems like she doesn't anymore since she accepted to be your friend." He smirked again . He must love to insult people. What a guy. "BUT you will not tell Lily or anyone about this morning." He whispers threateningly.
Oh so he remembers.
"What if I do tell someone?" I ask with pointless bravery. "What can you possibly do-"
"Oh don't worry about that part." An evil expression finds its way on his face. "I know lots of ways to make you pay."
As footsteps are heard, Troye smoothly steps away from me ,facing a Lily with Doritos in one hand and drinks in the other.
"Oh let me help you" what? Are you serious? . Troye quickly steps next to Lily taking the drinks from her hand.
I swear he has two people living inside him.
You do too.
