Juliet's POV

Ethan had only been at the flat for a little more than an hour and he was already starting to make moves on me. It started with his hand slowly inching its way up my thigh. Then he ended up leaning over and kissing me. I couldn't help but notice how there was no spark. Maybe it was because he was moving too fast. Yeah, that must be it.

His hands found their way to my waist and he'd been working on getting me to lay down when I heard a loud slam. It must've been the front door. I pulled away from Ethan to try and listen. The sound of rattling keys in the lock of the door are what got me to push him off and go investigate.

As I walked out into the hall, I noticed Harry's door was open. When I opened the front door I could see him walking onto the pavement. For whatever reason, something told me to chase him, so I did. Eventually I just decided to call his name.

"Harry, stop!" I yelled over the rain water sounds as it hit the ground.

He spun round to face me. His eyes searched my face with confusion, probably as to why I'd gone after him. But I, myself, didn't quite know why I'd done it either

"Where are you going?" I asked quietly.

"Anywhere but here," he replied in a snarky tone.

"What's wrong?" I asked louder so that he could hear me over the rapid rainfall.

"Nothing," he grumbled.

"Harry, tell me."

"You want to know what's wrong?" he took a few steps toward me. "He's what's wrong. He hurt you and I'm sure he wouldn't mind doing it again."

"No he won't!" I retaliated, easily angered by his words.

"Everything is wrong, Juliet. Can't you see that?" He continued taking steps forward and was now less than a metre away from me. "This is wrong; the rain." He was right in front of my face at this point. "The rain is so wrong, yet so right," He whispered just loud enough for me to hear.

He took one last step forward as I kept my eyes locked on his. I closed my eyes as he tilted my chin up, connecting his lips to mine. My hand reached out and caressed his jaw. And there it was, that spark I didn't feel when Ethan kissed me. Harry's lips seemed to be so different from anyone's I'd ever kissed. They were actually indescribable, just amazing. Just as I opened my eyes, he decided to talk again.

"This could be right," he spoke softly before pivoting on his heel and trudging away back to his car.

In all honesty, I didn't want him to pull away. More importantly, it hurt my heart immensely to watch him walk away. Tears slipped down my cheeks as he drove away to God knows where. He just decided to kiss me and then leave? Does he even know how extremely confusing that is to a girl?

My clothes were now drenched in dirty rain water, but I didn't care. I was tempted to stay out there until he came back, but then multiple strikes of lightning quickly changed my mind.
