It has been weeks that Demi and I have been talking. I'm definitely falling for her. I haven't seen her in a few days. Plus my parents have been arguing a lot so I doubt she wants to see me. If she does I'm going to have to wear a long sleeves.

As I was walking outside to go into town my father stopped me.
"Hey Mackenzie! Where do you think you are going?!"He said with anger in his voice.
"Into town to apply for a job."I said confused.
"You're not allowed to leave"He slammed his fist down on the table.
"Says who? I'm 19."
"You're not leaving!"He demanded
"Whatever"
I went back upstairs and slammed my bedroom door shut. As I lay there crying I got a text. It was from Demi.
"Hey beautiful. Wanna come over for dinner?<3"
"I want to but I can't :(..."It broke my heart to have to tell her that.
"My father won't let me leave..."
"I'm coming and getting you."
"Demi please don't..I don't wan't my dad to talk to you like shit."
"I'm leaving now. Be ready."
I got more nervous as the minutes went by. I wasn't scared for me, but for her.
"I'm here. I will be waiting on your porch in case he says anything."
I tried to fast walk past my dad, but he grabbed my wrist.
"I THOUGHT I SAID YOU WEREN'T LEAVING. WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?!"He yelled in my face.
Tears starting pouring from my eyes. I stood there I was petrified I couldn't move or speak.
"Mackenzie!! I'm coming in!!"
Before I even had a chance to reply the door flung open. I'm surprised it didn't break. Demi was pissed. I have never seen her angry, not even the slightest bit.
"LET GO OF HER!!"Demi yelled clenching her fist, her knuckles were beginning to turn white.
"WHO IS THIS?!?!"My father yelled squeezing me even tighter.
"I'M HER GIRLFRIEND! SHE IS LEAVING WITH ME!
I have never heard her use the term girlfriend towards me before, but my stomach went crazy when she did. My father eventually let me go. Demi grabbed my hand and walked me out.

We were silent until Demi broke the silence.
"I'm sorry about your dad, and me saying you were my girlfriend..."There was a long pause. She looked like she was avoiding the fact she was about to cry.
"It's okay. You were my hero."
"I wasn't gonna let him do that to you."
We were quiet all the way to her place.
"You really live here?"I asked amazed
"I really do live here"She began laughing hysterically.
It was a big white house. There was even a pool.

She took me on a grand tour. It was all just so beautiful.
"Follow me I need to show you something"She smiled.
I didn't question it I just followed.We somehow ended back in the recording studio. She pulled out a stool and gestured for me to sit. she picked up her guitar and began to sing.

I slowly pulled up my sleeves. She look at me then grabbed my arms. She began to kiss every recent cut and scar.
"You are still beautiful.You are still Mackenzie."She smiled as a tear fell from her eye.
I slowly reached forward and wiped her eyes.
"You can stay in my spare bedroom tonight if you want?"She tried to smile.
"I will do that"I smiled then kissed her cheek.
