If I Die

If I die tonight, please be there to catch me. My last dying breath will bask in your glow. When I said, "I love you," I could never mean it. My heart had died in the darkness of your soul. My soul has gone and my true love has too.

You were my drug, but only for a while. To numb the pain I was feeling. I used you for a while. I will never be the same I used to be. I loved you then as you love me now. The only thing is, did you know I'm not a clown?
