10k falling in love( Z Nation)

Chapter 1

I was at my school when this all started. I ran out the doors and remember seeing complete chaos, I saw people running and cars on fire. I ran to my house ran straight to my basement and got my utility belt put my gun,ammo,knives and slingshot on my belt.
I then got my black leather jacket put on my combat boots then put on my beanie. I went out the back door to get my rifle and there they were my parents getting mauled by what ever those things were. So i grabbed my rifle and gave them mercy. I was then on my way to my motorcycle. I got on and started to ride. When I was on the highway I saw a group. One was a women tall and had red hair. There was a young man around my age had dark beautiful hair and also had a rifle. There was another girl that was maybe a little older than me that had dark hair. There was an old man with a scruffy beard and a weird looking guy next to him. Then there was a women and man that looked like the leaders of the group. When I was driving by they waved me to stop so I stopped but then realized a z so I pulled out my slingshot, picked up a rock and killed it. "Nice shot there kid" said the man with the beard. The man that looked like the leader came up to me." That was a great shot there, say you want to join us we could use another great shot. My name is Charles Garnett. This is Addy, Roberta,10k,Doc, Mac,Cassandra,and Murphy." Garnett said. "Who is the other great shot." I asked. The boy around my age stepped forward. He seemed handsome with his big green eyes and his raven hair. "Me" said the boy with the green eyes,I think his name is 10k. " Let me see." I said I didn't care I just wanted to see him look at me then shoot and act like it was nothing. 10k turned around pulled out his sling shot and a paper clip and shot the farthest z. Wow i thought to myself he is so hot. "Sure I will join" I honestly just wanted to get to know 10k. They then got in their trucks and I got on my bike and we started driving down the road I then look to the side and see 10k look at me I blush then focus back on the road.
