We decided to get back on the road and I actually suggested that to warren because of all the tension. I was still in shock of all that happened so I didn't sit in the back like I usually do. I sat in the truck in between Addy and Mac. Murphy, Cassandra,Doc,and 10k were sitting in the bed of the truck while Garnett was driving and Warren was next to him. " Hey are you OK" Addy asked me. " yeah I guess I just want to get away for a while" I said fiddling with my fingers. " Hey you can't run away from your problem you need to talk to him" said Addy putting her hand on my shoulder. " yeah Addy is right you need to talk to him" said Mac butting in. " Yeah I guess I will talk to him later" I said fiddling with my fingers again. The rest of the ride was quiet until......" we are here" said Garnett. "Halt who goes there" said an army man. " I am Charles Garnett and this is Roberta Warren" said Garnett. " we want to see the captain " said Garnett. " It will cost you something" said the man. " What" asked Garnett. "Painkillers and the good stuff" said the man. " fine here is some oxy" said Doc handing the man oxy from out of his bag. " Do want to see the man or not" said the guy I wanted to go up to the guy and kick him were the sun don't shine. " Fine" said Doc giving the guy a handful of oxy. " Good now go ahead just you" said the man rolling his eyes. " No we all go together and you're coming with" said Garnett. " I don't think boss will agree" said the man. " I don't care we are going together or I will blow your brains out personally" said Warren sternly. The man sighed an walked to the door. " Katrina and 10k watch the car" said Garnett. " Uh- ok" I said awkwardly. They left into the building leaving 10k and I alone. " Man this sucks" I thought to myself. We sat there in silence for a while. " Katrina I am so sorry for what happened the other day I didn't mean any of and I didn't even like her I don't even know why I said any of that please forgive me" said 10k looking at me holding my hands. I pulled my hands away from his." You really hurt me and you promise you would protect me and stay with me and It clearly looked like you were going to leave me" I said turning away, hopping down from the truck, kicking a z down and pulling out a knife from my boot and stabbing it in the head. " But please I love you and I am not sure what happened to me back there but I know it will never happen again please forgive me and take me back" said 10k hopping down spinning me around to meet his gaze. I couldn't say know to his big beautiful green glowing eyes. I kissed him and felt the same butterflies but I pushed him away. " I love you I will take you back if you promise to never do that again" I said fearfully. " I promise so are we still together" asked 10k. " Most definitely" I said pulling him close to me putting my arms around his neck and him putting his arms tight around my waist I was about to kiss him again but..." Awwwwwwww looks like you to made up" I heard Addy say. " Shut u- wait where is Doc" I asked cracking my voice. The group exchanged looks and then Warren looked at 10k and I. " He didn't make it" said Warren with a sad look in her eye. I put my head into 10k's chest and started to cry. " Is that" said 10k. Doc was nasty and was walking towards us. " well someone has to do it" said Garnett. " I will" said Warren stepping forward. " Steven Doc Beck I give you mercy" said Warren firing but missed. " Warren are you trying to kill me" said Doc. " We thought you were dead" I said. " Well as far as I am aware I am alive" said Doc earning laughs. " Here wipe yourself off your a little disgusting" said Warren laughing a bit handing Doc a rag. " Give me a kiss baby" said Doc laughing. We all got in the truck and got back on the road to who knows where while I was snuggling with 10k falling asleep while the darkness took over.
