Deathbringer's P.O.V.
Fire. Burning. GLORY! That's all I could think of as the forest rose to flames. I shot down the rows of screaming dragons. I raced onto the Queen's hut. Glory lay in a ring of fire sweating and shouting, " DEATHBRINGER! " For the first time I saw tears streaming down her terrified face as she was screaming for me. I looked around frantically for something to break the circle of fire but nothing was in view. I knew what I had to do. I charged into the ring of fire and watched as my black scales turned into brown crisps. I roared with pain as I stumbled into the ring of fire. I thought about flying out but I looked, the fire was to the ceiling.
" Deathbringer?!" Glory sobbed to me.
" I'm here, I won't let you get hurt." I whispered to her.
She embraced me and sobbed into my chest.
Glory P.O.V.
I was trapped in a ring of fire. Deathbringer came barreling through the ring and scooped me up bridal style. My eyes were stained with tears. Deathbringer whispered words to me I couldn't hear over the fire. I cried into his broad, fire cracked chest. A dawn of realization crashed over me. I felt his muscular chest and saw his warm purple eyes. I felt his strong legs holding me up and fell. Not on the ground, but in love.
" Hold on." Deathbringer whispered hoarsely.
He ran to the fire and rolled into a ball covering me as he took the blow.
" DEATHBRINGER!" I shouted.
He stumbled out of the fire and coughed. His scales were bunt and bleeding.
" G...lo...ry?" Deathbringer coughed.
" Yes." I whispered, starting to cry.
" I...love...you. I have since the day I saw you in the Ice Kingdom. I...could..nt... admit...it." Deathbringer coughed.
I sobbed. I broke down in front of Deathbringer. I grabbed him and pinned him to the ground. I kissed him. Sure, it wasn't exactly the way I pictured out first kiss but I did it. He wrapped him arms around me and pressed him lips handed into mine. It was the birth of Glorybringer.
