RUBY'S POV

5:00 am the birds scraped the tin roof on the attic . I swear waking up like this isn't awesome whatsoever "Time for school "I muttered unhappily. I sneaked downstairs carefully, trying not to wake my sister Morgan or my father Arden . My so called family just abuses the crap out of me .I slipped off my clothes and took a warm shower. 15 minutes later I stepped out and tiptoed through the hall. I climbed the staires up to my room or the attic. In 20 minutes tops I have dressed in blue jeans,Gray undershirt, white lacy crop top , and brown combat boots.I also have brushed my wavy raven black hair and put on eyeliner to frame my piercing green eyes.

I soon got my book bag and ran like the wind torwards my car I got last weekend. I have worked so hard at a bunch of stores and fast food places for years to get it . It was seriously my dream car, an ssc ultimate aero in dark blue.

Once I got to the school I met up with my friends Christina and Danny in the cafe .

Christina is a bubbly petite redhead with blue eyes ,a heart shaped face ,and full pale pink lips. While Danny is a brunette brown eyed ,strong featured , tallish, shy guy ."hey Ruby " Christina called. I smiled slightly in return,"hi,"I replied .Danny looked my way with a slight short nod.

I pulled out my favorite book Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt .After reading chapters 15-23 I decided to finish my homework. I got up to my locker and grabbed my bag .Soon I realized I left my homework at home. I sighed at my own stupidity. How could I just carelessly leave something at home while my sister and father are there.

I ran towards my car and sped all the way to my house.once there I checked for Arden's car. When I confirmed the coast was clear I ran up to my room. By the time I found my homework it was 7:15.

I ran downstairs and stopped to the sound of moaning coming from Morgan's room. I rolled my eyes probably another boytoy. that's when I heard it.an all too familiar voice groaning my sister's name......Alec my boyfriend.( a/n I was gonna end it but too short)

I slowly opened the door and spotted Morgan pushed up against the wall with her shirt half way up moaning. Alec was in front of her trailing kisses up her jawline. His pants zipper down

I was fucking mad,"ALEC WHAT THE BLOODY HELL ARE YOU DOING,"I yelled at the top of my lungs. Alec jumped at the sound of his name.

hey Ruby, what are you doing home,"Morgan said with a huge smirk.

" SHUT IT BEFORE I SHUT IT FOR YOU," I yelled at my sister.

I glared at Alec he was MY BOYFRIEND . How could he cheat on me with my sister.

" I-It's not what it looks like," Alec stuttered .
