Ruby's POV-

recap: She held up the shiny pan so I can look at myself. Looking at myself what the fuck happened.

In the nape of my neck there were fourteen teeth marks made into a crescent moon shape.

Dropping the pan "w-what is that," I stuttered pointing at it.

Lillian sighed and ran her fingers through her ringlets.

" Well ...you see...It's not really," she let out a huff.

" It's not really....um...my place to tell it's...um...it's-" I cut her off.

" IT'S WHO," I snapped.

" It's Cole's," she whispered averting her eyes from mine.

The front door slammed closed and a familiar silhouette came through the kitchen threshold.

Turning my full attention to Cole I directed my question to him. " Do you know when I got this ," I animalisticly growled.

He held up his hands in surrender . His bluish-grey eyes pleadingly stared at my green ones. My deadly gaze softened a bit .

Sighing I closed my eyes and asked him again.When he didn't answer I was pissed.

" Ruby please calm down," he said sounding kinda tired. I opened my eyes again and narrowed them.

" Lillian said you should know so SPEAK," I yelled each word getting louder. He whimpered slightly but it didn't faze me if I didn't get answers there will be bloodshed.

" Aunt Lilly will you please go to another room," he asked. Almost immediately Lillian went to the foyer. I gazed at him expecting answers.

" Ok look what I'm about to tell you is big like really huge you can't tell nobody," he responded looking at me seriously.

I nodded in understanding " Don't freak Ruby,".

About ten second later he stripped of his shirt to show his smoking eight pack. It wasn't that much a big deal until he reached for his beltbuckle.

" woh woh woh hold on I wanted explanations not a stripshow," I said wide-eyed.

A sexy smirk played on his soft looking lips. " I'm not gonna show you anything I'm just gonna strip to my boxers ok,". I nodded an ok.

When he took off his pants, shoes and socks he made eye contact with me.'don't scream'he mouthed.

he stood in a ready position in less than a minute bones where braking everywhere.I stared at him in horror. Fur was everywhere and his boxers were ripping when he grew a couple of inches and not just in height.

In seconds a huge grey and white wolf was standing right in front of my chest. His big bluish-grey eyes popped out and I was mesmerized. Don't be scared I heard him say.

"how did you"

'we're mates Ruby soulmates I belong with you and you with me ,' he stated softly.

I stared at him I'm mated to a dog. 'shifter' he said.Comprehension went through my mind I gave him a genuine smile.' I'll be down in a second godda put clothes on'. I nodded in return.

And I thought this only happened in Twilight I chuckled.

He gave me a wolfy grin and ran upstairs.

COLE'S POV

Finally I tell Ruby she's my mate but my wolf feels neutral shouldn't he be jumping in joy. I just shrugged it off it must be nothing.

I rushed down stairs and made my way to Ruby. Aunt Lilly (Lillian) must have gone to the store or something because I hadn't seen her.

Opening the door to the kitchen I snake my arms around her waist. she turns around so she faces me. In no time I get lost in her beautiful forest green eyes. My eyes soon land on her gorgeous reddish pink lips. I lick my own to moisten them.

They were so tempting to kiss. I could only have so much self control until I snap. I could already taste her cherry chapstick.

Subconsciously I leaned in closer the smell of jasmine and vanilla was now surrounding me. Her minty breath fanned my face

Forest green eyes were staring deep into my bright blue ones. As we were only a centimeters apart aunt Lilly approached the kitchen and cleared her throat.

"Don't do anything you can't finish while in the kitchen,"she paused," we eat here".she added.

I looked back at Ruby to see her slowly backing away with a small smile.

"thanks for having me but I really need to go I have to do um...something see you tomorrow," she squeaked.

"um ok sure " I answered.

" BTW you still have to tell me why you bit me," she yelled then slammed the door.

I scratched the back of my neck and turned to face Aunt Lilly with her eyebrow raised . I gave her a sheepish smile and ran upstairs.
