Ruby's POV

I seriously have a boyfriend who is a mutt. I wonder if fairys, elves , mermaids and vampires exist too.

Walking home at 6 in the afternoon is actually peaceful. My few minutes give me time to sort out all my thoughts.

If it wasn't for lidia I think I would have run away and never looked back. With our wolfy encounter she helped me see the world with an open mind.

Turning to my street I only had a couple minutes of thinking left. As soon as I stepped onto the front porch the door flew open.

" CAME BACK FROM FUCKING THAT DICK," my father screamed while throwing a chair. I glared.He has a throwing when angry problem. Then he started laughing .LAUGHING.

" hit you pretty hard with that rock huh".

Again I glared he has no-wait what I felt my face,forehead,then head. Soon I felt a gauze bandage stiff with dried blood.

"Move," I said just above a whisper.

He shook his head in a mocking manner.

"I always wondered what it would be like to have you dead...let's see," he said while approaching me.

He yanked me into the house and pushed me up against the wall with his hand around my throat. He applied more pressure until I was sure I couldn't breath. My face was very well purple and my pupils dilated a couple times.

" help," I screamed but really it was more like a wheeze.

" WHAT THE FUCK DAD," Reese yelled.

" Go to your room "

" HELL NA "

Soon enough I could breath and when I looked at Arden he was tackled on the floor with Reese beating him. Reese came to me when he noticed Arden was knocked out.

He clutched my wrist and pulled me to his room. His room was dark blue and black.Posters of bands and athletes where all over his walls. I haven't been in his room for ages.

"hey" he whispered

"hi"

" look I'm sorry for being a douch all those years will you please forgive me" you could tell of the sincerity in his chocolate eyes.

eyes watering I replied " yeah we're siblings after all."

suddenly I was enveloped in a huge hug. smiling I hugged back.
