I woke up from my iPhone's alarm clock. Thanks phone, I love when you do that.

I did my daily routine from last year. Who has a routine in the summer? people who have jobs and/or a life. Only half joking there. But I still went back to my default of, getting dressed, breakfast, brushing my teeth, and  heading out with Carter.

I left with Carter to her school and saw that Mark kid. Carter, being her, wanted to talk. I told her to not and that it wasn't the time. He was probably tired and not happy to go to school. Thankfully, she didn't. I dropped her off at her school saying a quick goodbye. Even though Mark was behind us before I was only a few feet in front of him now, but then he talked to me.

"Was that your sister?" He asked, catching up to my fast walking. Now walking side by side, scratch that he wasn't tired and cranky, I am. For now.

"Yeah." I was not up for conversation and even if he was fully awake and happy to go to school (which I doubt) I have no idea why he wants to talk.

"Your Sean right?" he asked, he's so curious. I can't tell if it's annoying or cute. Actually my inner monologue is just rude, he's probably just being polite.

"Please call me Jack" I corrected, he's in a few classes with me I really didn't understand how he picked up Sean but not me correcting our teacher to calling me Jack.

"Well I'm Mark, Markiplier." he said.

"What?" I thought out loud. Why the hell did this boy just say that for no specific reason. I mean I understand his name but Markiplier?

"You didn't know? We got told that at the end of the day over the speaker com that we should go by nicknames. It's something to do with being a good person" He explained, yet he didn't sound one hundred percent sure what he was talking about.

"Oh yeah, my buddy Fe told me that they would tell us today. I guess it's different this year." I told, truth be told I felt a bit dumb for not understanding that right away. I also have no idea how I didn't hear them explaining that to us.

"Oh, I see, so did you think of a name?" He asked, again he was very curious but maybe he just was bored and didn't want to stay in quiet why he walked today.

"Yeah, I'm guessing you've seen my sister. She helped me with it. It's Jacksepticeye." I told him.

"Cool name." he told nodding a bit, "I'm sorry, I haven't met you before and I went to a small elementary. Did you move here this year?" he asked. Well that corrects my thoughts

"Nope! I went to that elementary we just passed. And I assume you went to the other elementary?" I asked, my Irish accent coming through. It felt very weird shifting from moody to happy but for some reason he wanted to talk more to Mark. It was something different which contrast to what I would have thought minutes ago, is way more interesting than zombie walking to school.

As we walked to school we walked to school we talked about our classes, which wasn't really interesting but it filled the silence and entertained us. We waved bye once we got inside, I headed to my locker quickly getting my stuff for the rest of the day.

Going through the classes we mostly got to choose where we sat, which included the first class I have with Mark.So I sat by him, it felt so normal talking to him. Like a breath of fresh air making everything seem so possible and simple. We talked whenever a snide comment was thought of and laughed a bit to much, our teacher giving us obvious cold stares which made us laugh more. We were acting like children but we didn't care, which was possibly the reason it felt so fun.
