Plot Twists

Hey everyone I'm here bringing you some out takes and things that would have changed the whole book if they happened. But before we go on I would like to say that it is currently  1:34 A.M. On July 19 2016 this is the start date because I'm going to be making this chapter as I make the up coming ones.

Now remember this is not just out takes but also things that might of never happened or things that changed over my process of writing or the evaluation of how an idea came to be. Now I'm going to be starting as early as I remember.

1. Okay, so first thing is that in the super early chapters Jack and Mark were going to kiss and get together a lot sooner. It was going to be because of a scene where they head to the woods to a place where Jack went when he was younger and his parents were fighting (though I now scratched that idea and he went to Felix's instead). It was going to be a nice peaceful place but I decided to get rid of it  because it was happening all too soon even if they did get together pretty quickly in the end game it was going to be like days after they met and I just didn't like that.

2.  So for people who have waited through the process of the whole book from start to ending, there was this chapter after Sleep Over where it is in Carter's POV and her, Alex and Andrew were all talking about a new kid in their class, it gave you a view into Andrew's room and it was more in the kid's POV.

2 1/2. As I said they would be talking about a new kid his name would be Lucas. Lucas was going to be Mark's little brother. But I decided to delete the chapter around the time "The Aftermath" went up because I thought that the character wouldn't be need and  he would just be a drag to have be in the chapters and to include him in.

3. Jack's father was always a mystery to me as I didn't know how his story would go. I always really wanted something sad but I also wanted you guys to be sad about the passing of his dad and just sad because of Jack being sad. Jack's dad isn't a bad guy he took care of Jack and died before he could care for Carter. Jack's dad just always fought with Jack's mom and that was the main problem with the two.

4. More of a fun fact then anything but I got the inspiration to get the "cluster fuck 5" (as Jack and Mark call them) into the mix as I was laying in bed listening to "There's a Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven't Thought of It Yet" by Panic! At The Disco and I can say that it was the most fun I had when I was "writing in the air" (as my writing teacher calls it). It was fun to think about though and I couldn't wait to have some more characters I could mess around with at the time.

6. When I first made Carter it was for the fun of it, I wanted a little kid that could play with Jack and have fun with him so they could goof off together. But then not to long after I was like "wait a mother clucking spine rolling second, I could use this character as all hell and make her be apart of the actual story" and now she's dead. So really she was always to be put into Jack's life to hurt him.

7. That moment when Jack was originally going to be more punk but I couldn't write it so I turned him into a not punk character.

8. Most of the time when the book makes references to a fandom that's me giving my two cents to a fandom I just joined or a fandom I'm in.

9. If you look closely at some of the chapters you could see hints to up coming plot points that I later stopped (such as the thing with Lucas)

10. I never actually planed for Felix and Jack to know each other as long as they actually do now. I was planing for Felix to have a crush on Jack and I did plan for them to be friends for at least a couple years but not for 10. But I feel at the end it gave a better ring to their relationship. I also like that I can make cute head cannons about baby Felix and baby Jack.

11. The amusement park that Jack and Felix went to in the chapter "Amusement" was one I've been to when summer started.

12. Every once in a while I would think that I would like to stop writing in the middle of the story, but then I had an idea and I would run with it.

13. Sometimes in the most serious parts of the book, like when Cry was at Felix's house and all that went down or a few seconds ago when I was writing this, my keyboard goes all caps lock and I don't realize till like I've wrote three or four words and I look up and it always makes me laugh.

14. Cry actually has a pretty sad background in this story but it's never had a chance to be shed a light on so now it will. So Cry was always different from his other family members, he never got a long with any of them either (besides his aunt). He resented his family and avoided them at all costs. When he and his parents got into a heated argument at age he ran away when we was fourteen. He went to his aunt's (who, like him, didn't really like that side of her family) and she let him live with her, the parents didn't care he was gone so for them it was good. Once he started settling down there he didn't want anything to do with those other people who "raised" him. He was named after his dad and he look very similar to him. Cry then decided to nickname himself Cry, and he usually had a mask so that he didn't have to look like his dad. And surprise she lived where Jack and Felix have lived their whole life.

I really liked making this, I haven't been making this for to long but it was fun to do. (Future Caden from November, Okay so I realized that this chapter is actually in the middle of the book and I needed to change that so that's why this is updated)
