Beside You (A Marianas Trench / Ghost Town Fan Fic)

~Chapter 7

I'm running. I'm running as fast as I can, and I know they're behind me. I know that if I slow down for a second they're going to catch me. Is this where it ends? I can't just end this way I can't just let everything I have worked for be gone because of this one person I can't escape. Who am I running from? I don't know why I'm running. I can't remember who I'm running from. All I remember is that I'm in danger, and if I stop I won't see light again. I'm not looking behind me but I know they're still behind me, gaining on me because I'm becoming tired, and weak. I know I can't run like this for much longer, but what happens when I stop? What will be the first thing I see? Will it be help of the friendly, loving, familiar face of my boyfriend? Or will it be the one person I am running from? The ground is shaking! I can feel it falling from underneath me. 

Nova's POV: 

"KAT YOU NEED TO WAKE UP!" I said shaking her with my hands firmly gripping er shoulders.

"What's wrong with her!?" Kevin asked me in a panic.

"You said you woke up, and she was like this right?"

"Yeah I woke up to her screaming , and crying and flailing around and why won't she stop!?"

"She will have to tell you later but right now I need you to go into her bathroom and run a bathtub full of cold water. GO NOW!"

He ran into the bathroom and I heard the water start to fill the tub."

"Kat sweetie, I need you to wake up!" I said shaking her again. "KAT!"

"Kevin!"

He came running into the room frantically.

"Go downstairs and get an ambulance on the way she is going to have a seizure if I can't wake her up soon."

He ran downstairs, and got 911 on the phone, Kat is screaming, a blood curdling scream, and she can't stop. This has only happened one other time and it wasn't nearly this bad, in fact she woke up on the first try, but she has always had nightmares.

"Boys! I need you to get in here!" I yelled.

Josh was the first one in followed by Matt, and Alix, and Kevin was still on the phone with the police.

"Alix I need you to go and get the water shut off it should be about half full!"

"Got it." He said saluting me.

"Matt I need you to come over here and hold her arms firmly to her sides. No matter how much she struggles she is NOT awake!"

"What if I hurt her?!" 

"Not my concern right now. Josh come her and grab her legs firmly don't let them move! Lift her and lift her over the bathtub. When I say drop her I mean FUCKING DROP HER! She needs the shock."

Josh nodded and went over struggling to grab her kicking legs, and Matt was struggling to keep his grip on her ans she was struggling, and yelling at the top of her longs for them to let her go. They carried her to the bathtub, and hovered her over. The bathroom was fairly big, and the tub was a jacuzzi style tub so it was big enough. Kevin ran into the bathroom.

"They're on their way!"

"Good drop her!"

They dropped her into the freezing cold water and her eyes popped open revealing her big blue eyes. She jumped out of the tub, and fell on the ground.

Kevin's POV:

Kat and I fell asleep last night after talking for hours. We have been together for about a month now, and I wouldn't usually say this about a girl I've been with for a month but she was perfect. She really seemed to understand who I was, the way I thought. As cliche as it sounds... I think I love this girl. I can be myself around her, and she doesn't seem to hide anything from me. I can be an goofy as I want and she obviously feels comfortable enough to do the same. For fuck sake she came out about a week ago in a batman onezie. She fell asleep last night laying on my chest, and I had my arm around her pulling her into me while he was hiding her face in my chest. Then when I woke up she was freaking out crying, sweating buckets, flailing around and she had no  control over any of it.  Nova came to the rescue and when I came back in from calling an ambulance I just happened to see Matt, anf Josh throwing my girlfriend into a freezing cold ice bath.
