~Chapter 11

Why is it so hot!? Oh yeah I'm in L.A... Its probably 80°and I'm being snuggled by my boyfriend. Makes sense. As uncomfortably hot as it is, I have yo admit I could get used to this.

What's that noise? Is my phone ringing? Nope I think Kevin's is.

"Kev." I said nudging him in the ribs.

"Huh?" He mumbles.

"Your phone."

"Oh shit!"

He rolled over and grabbed his phone of the dresser. I don't know who he thought it was but he seemed a lot less stressed when he flub that it was Josh.

He talked for about 2 minutes and then hung up.

"Hey Nova, and Josh just woke up and wanted to know if we wanted to hit the beach fir a bit."

"Do you want to?"

"I wouldn't mind taking a dip."

"Yeah I'm hot as hell so that sounds like fun."

"Yes you are!" He said winking.

"When are we meeting them?"

"At 1:00 it's about noon."

"I actually slept till noon?"

"Yeah I'm impressed."

"Okay I suppose we should get ready. Uggggg that sounds like a daunting task!"

"Yes it doesn't it will be worth it to get some Sun. No offence babe but it's painfully obvious you're from Seattle... You're practically glowing white."

"Hey!" I said becoming suddenly a lot more awake and throwing a pillow at him.

"Sorry but seriously. You white girl."

"Okay! Geez."

We ate some cereal quickly, and got ready to go. I went with no makeup and a pair of Jean shorts and a black muscle tank over my bikini, with a pair of flip flops. Kevin chose a pair of board shorts, and a tank top as well.

We got in the car in a rush knowing we were about 15 minutes behind schedule.

When we got to the beach we hopped out grabbing the beach bag, and running to where we seen Josh, and Nova sitting in the sand. In my god they do look white. Do I look that white?

"Hey!" Nova chirped as we came up.

"Hey guuuuurl! " I said in my best ghetto voice.

"Now that my main girl is here I think it's time fir a dip!"

"Hell yes it is!"

Josh's POV:

"Comin' Ramsay?" Nova asked looking.g at me challenging.

"I'll catch up with you." I said with the sane tone.

"Wimp." She mumbled.

They peeled off their shirts and shorts revealing they both had the same swim suit. They looked at each other like 'bitch no' then started laughing. The only difference was Kats was pink, and Nova's was purple. I have to admit these girls are FIT. Nova was absolutely beautiful. She was unique. With her purple hair, and the fact that she rode dirt bikes for a living and she was a girl made her a million times cooler. She's not self conscious, she doesn't doubt herself. That's amazing as well. I mean every girl I know has to have a break down and call herself ugly, or question why anyone likes her. I love that Nova just accepts that she is loved and doesn't ask anymore questions.

I looked at Kevin and he looked like he was in a trance with a smile spread across his face watching our girls running away from the waves attempting to wipe them out. I think they realized how cold the water is. After about 5 minutes they came back out of breath.
