Its not important to be loved in return but the most important thing is that you love her enough to make her fall for you.
***Sitting on the giant comfy black chair. I adjusted my glass on my nose. The whole bunch of files were laying on the oak wooden grey table. I still has a lot of work to do before going to my love. I have promised her that I will visit her at noon. But here I was. I checked the time on my wrist watch.
2:08 pm it showed. I let out a small yawn. I was hella tiered and I just wanted to meet Barbara.I called Shawn,my personal assistant.
Just few minutes later he came in.
He was in his late 30's. And I trusted him with my life. He was with me when I was nothing. And he's still with me when my name counts on the youngest billionaires of the world." I have to go to meet up with barb, Shawn. So, make sure this work is complete by tomorrow" I gave him the list of the files.
"But Mate, today is parents teacher meeting in Barbie's school"
Oh no! I forgot that today I have to go to my 6 years daughter's school for her PTA. Shit!
I drove to her school and it took me freaking 5 minutes to find her class. But finally I was there.
As soon as I went inside her class. I think I was late because only my daughter was sitting alone. I sat beside her.
Her face lit up."Daddy! You came! I thought you forgot!" My princess exclaimed.
I just smiled at her.
***
The meeting was pretty boring. The old woman wasn't going to stop. But phew!
Its time to meet my love of life. Today I'm taking my daughter with me too. Barbara will be so happy to see our daughter. I can't help a smile crept on my lips.
The ride wasn't silent at all. Barbie was screaming loudly as she told me bout this boy named, Philip. Kids now a days.
She was only seven and already has crush on a boy. I listened to her carefully. She looks so excited talking bout him.I don't know when she has fallen asleep. Well it wasn't surprise. She sleeps while traveling besides it was a long drive.
I looked at my daughter. She just looks like her. Same green eyes and the heart shaped face.
My daughter is going to be a beautiful girl.***
Finally we were there. I didn't bother to wake Barbie up. So I opened the door and came out.
The place was silent as always. Barbara likes peaceful and silent surrounding. That's why I had chose this place. It was far away from the NY city. Almost at end of the city. Where the town finished.
I walked into the graveyard. The certain thing I was looking for wasn't far.
My legs stopped walking as I reached the place.
A grave was placed there.
"Sorry love I'm late" I whispered as I sat down on the cold field.
I told her everything I want to tell.
"You know love, I miss you and I know you miss me too"
It was only 1 hour when I heard someone walking.
I stood up and followed the voice.
It was my daughter."Princess" as soon as she heard my voice she threw herself on my arms.
I hugged her and carried her in my back.
"Daddy, why are we here?" She asked, confused. I stayed silent.I put her down as we reached her grave.
I just stood still. So did Barbie. She was analyzing the grave in front of her.
She started to walk towards the grave. Me, walking behind her.She touched the white tile.
She stared at the name on the grave.
I knew why."Daddy, why my name is on it?" She asked, innocently.
I walked to her and placed my hand on her small shoulder. I bent down to come up with her level.
"Because you're name is special, Barbara" I looked into her eyes.
She made a confused face. So I carried on.
"You always wanted to see your mom, right?"
She nodded her head.
"Here's your mom" I said, pointing at the grave.
She just stayed quite. Like she was digesting the news.
She slowly, walked to grave. Touching the photo of her on it."Mom has same eyes as me,daddy"
I nodded. "Because you're her princess"
She held my hand in her small ones.
"We miss you mom"
Her those four words. I looked down at my daughter.
Your daughter is like you,Barbara.
I couldn't hold my tears and burst out crying. Dropping myself on the grassy land. I sobbed on my hands, covering my face.
"Mom loves you daddy"
I looked at my daughter. Nodded. Tears running down my face. Her small hand wiped it. She gave me a kiss on cheeks.
She took the single red rose from my shirt pocket and placed it on her mom's grave.
I stood up and took out the chocolate from my jean pocket and putted it on my girlfriend's grave.
"Why chocolate,daddy?"
"You mom loves chocolates" I smiled at her.
I held my daughter's hand and walled out of the graveyard.
Looking back, I mouthed.
I love you.
