Blood.

Blood was all I could see.

And it was the only thing I could focus on right now. It was on the walls and on the floor. It was so much that the white floor turned red.

It was just everywhere.

I didn't know what happened to me. I couldn't focus on anything else. And it was like I was frozen in place. My hands started to sweat, and my eyes slowly filled with tears.

I couldn't go to the seemingly unconscious body. I couldn't help them.

This couldn't be happening.

No, no, no. Please, don't.

I faintly heard the sirens coming to the rescue. It was just minutes later when the paramedics came in and pushed me aside.

They tried to ask me something, but I couldn't understand them. It was too much for me.

Because there, lying on the ground and covered in blood, was the love of my life. It was supposed to be the night of our lives.

"Please, please don't die on me... I need you..", I murmur to myself, hoping it will be enough.

Hoping for a miracle.
