As I stopped at the water...
I saw his icy cold face. He slept the gun quickly behind his coat and smiled his sickly smile.
"Why was I here" said that voice in the back of my head.
I wanted to run, call me a coward but I just had lunch and I don't feel like losing it
I dropped the coins in the pool of water. I was about to leave but he grabbed my hand and chuckled.
"Let me go" I screamed, "I have no more"
"Ha, than you'll have to come with me"
He laughed.
NO Please Please no...It all went dark and the last thing I heard was:
"Say good-bye to the winter sky your not gonna see it for a long while"
Here I am...
Not alone though,
There are thousands of us.
We couldn't pay all our taxes so they dragged us down here to do their dirty work.
It's mainly cooking, cleaning and mining the heavy black coal.
We are lucky to get two meals a day (it's that bad).
We each share a cell with five other people. The cells get terribly cold at night.
It breaks your heart to see the mothers have their children (no more that five years old) torn from their arms and made to work in the underground canyons mining the coal.
The authorities don't even know this is happing. If we said a word about it it'd be the six feet under elevator for you.
My uncle Polrio tried to spread the word but he was caught and never heard from again.
The at least two of us die of starvation and dehydration a day.
It's pretty bad down here.
I guess it's worse knowing that you were stolen.
