Joseph forced pushed Darth Crane off the exit of the ship. Him, Parker and the 8 other crew and soldiers got out of the ship. Other ships crash landed to and many people were running west toward the cruiser. Jets were flying threw the air and red and blue bolts flew, lighting up the bright sunny sky.
A few moments later, a loud sound came from behind Joseph. The ground shock, making everyone on the ground fall or trip; cracks started to split the ground, and soon, a sink hole started to far.
"Go!" Joseph yelled. Soon there was a large group of I.S.D soldiers and citizens running towards the cruiser. The land around them stared to cripple, until there was a canyon with one strip of land, dividing and creating 2 new separate lands. Right when the end of the group started to cross, the bridge started to collapse.
3 I.S.D soldiers fell, the others made it to the other side. Joseph, Parker, and four agents were trapped on the side of the Dark Army. The four agents were soon shit and killed, leaving Parker and Joseph alone. Crane came and attack Joseph, he protected Parker by fending of Crane, and blocking gun fire. The other agents on the cruiser said tried to give them cover fire.
"You and your friend will die!" Crane said with a dark grin. He then turned his sword off and hung on his belt. Then he rose his hands and lightning shot out of his fingers. The Dark Army was getting closer and closer, to much for the cover fire from the agents. Joseph made a last second decision.
"Hang on Parker!" He yelled, then he turned off his sword, getting hit my the lightning from Crane. Joseph then rose his hands, Parker started to rise in the air and float towards the agents.
"What are you doing!" Parker yelled.
"We need all the cover fire we can get!" Joseph yelled across the canyon. One of the commander nodded and gestured toward the Dark Soldiers shooting at Parker. Joseph gave one big push and Parker flew across, four agents with a net caught Parker. Joseph then turned around and created a force shield with his hands. Crane inched closer to Joseph, but Joseph still stood firmly, blocking the lightning, some of which fired back at Crane.
There hands touched and a big bolt of energy erupted and shot both of them back, Joseph landed on the other side of the canyon while Crane flew back in the Dark Army territory. Agents got Joseph and got him on the cruiser.
"We are ready!" Yelled an agent. The doors on the giant ship began to close, and soon the massive vechile started to rise into the air.Joseph woke up on a bed in his office. An agent was standing in the door way.
"We made it back to D.C?" Joseph asked.
"Yes sir, the Florida refugees aware in the under ground sleeping areas, many asking about loved ones." Replied the agent.
"What about crane?" Joseph asked.
"We don't know, the council wants you to get a report in, and there will be a meeting later today, it's 8:15 a.m. "
"Thank you." Joseph nodded with a slight grin. The agent nodded back and walked away, as soon as he did, Joseph's grin disappeared. He got off his bed and got on his computer.
Down in the sleeping areas, many people made a crowd all yelling names and concerns for loved ones. There was a desk, like the security at the airport.
"Hey, I'm Jake Statferm, how may I help you?" He said to someone in front of him.
"Where's my brother?" He said.
"Name."
"Austin Magrola. My brother is Gavin Magrola."
Jake looked at a roster. "Sir, I'm sorry, he's not on our list of survivors, try talking to that person who has the list of people who...may not have made it." He pointed at someone else.
"Thank you." Austin said, a tear came as he yelled his way over.
"Next!" Jake yelled over the crowd. Dozens of people went to him. "One at a time, one at a time!" One kid got his was threw.
"Name?" Jake said.
"Parker Hayne and Shawn Cole." The kid said.
"Who are you looking for?" Jake asked.
"Joseph Calvin." Parker replied.
Jake looked up, "Joseph Calvin, he's not accepting visitors. I can leave a message though."
"Please, he's a friend of ours." Parker pleaded.
Jake looked behind him, then he turned and said: "Joseph has been under a lot of stress, maybe a friend can cheer him up. I haven't seen him this worried in ever. But Shawn will have to stay here."
They both nodded and Jake took Parker down the hall ways. There were many teenagers wearing suits or security gear. Many of them were talking and looked worried about something. Jake and Parker turned down another hallway, "Head down this hallway, go in the elevator, head to floor 3, first door on your right." Jake said.
"Thank you." Parker replied, he then walked down the hall to the elevator.
A few minute later, Joseph heard someone say "hey." He looked up and saw Parker at his door.
"Hey Parker, what can I do for you?" Joseph said with a smile.
"Nothing, I just wanted to see what you were doing, and I when a few questions." Parker said.
"I'm printing out a report about Florida, and heading to the council room. Hold on to your questions, now that your hear, you should come up with me. Part of it has to do with you." Joseph replied. He seemed a little edgy. Parker nodded and Joseph got his papers, and led Parker threw the hall ways to the elevator.
From there, they went up to floor 55, the top floor. They walked down a short hallway, then was stopped by a door man.
"Welcome, please come, the members are waiting for you Joseph." He said. Joseph nodded and turned to Parker.
"Wait out here, someone will tell you to come in." Joseph said.
"Got it." Parker replied. After that, Joseph walked in. Sitting in the chairs with laptops on the arm rest, were 29 people, the head of the International Security Division. Joseph sat in the last open seat, making 30 council members.
"We lost Florida," Lance said. "Texas, parts of California are under attack, and other states are receiving threats of attacks.
"Not only that, other countries are getting threats. France, England." Edward continued.
"Yes, an I understand that you have something you would like to say Joseph?" Colton asked, leader of the council.
"Yes, a teenager that goes by Parker Hayne, I believe he has a mind power that is greater then an agent, but can't use the power of the force." The other members looked at each other. "The enemy knows about his presence too."
"Call him in." Colton said. A few minutes later, Parker walked in, he was guided to the center of the room, and faced towards Joseph, Nathan, and Colton, the leading members of the council.
"What are your averages in your grade, Parker?" Nathan asked.
"Straight A's, I'm in the honor roll sir." Parker replied.
"How do you feel right now, do you miss home?" Nathan asked.
"I miss it a little, but I'm nervous and worried for my family."
"Your family is in good care Parker." Joseph assured him.
"What if I were to tell you that you shall train with us, and Joseph would be your master?" Colton asked.
"I don't know, I guess."
"And Joseph, would you want to train Parker as your apprentice?" Nathan asked.
"If that's his will, and the will of the force, yes." Joseph replied.
Nathan and Colton looks at each other and then Colton said: "Well Parker, Joseph will tell you the details, you just have to prepare for what's about to happen."
"What is it?" Parker asked with a confused look.
Colton just replied with one word. "War."
