They all froze at the edge "lets get down there guys" Samantha whispered. Danni quickly held her back, trying to stop her but the dirt underneath her crumbled and she slid in. Stanley hurried after her, skidding down inside the crater. Danni was about to yell for them both, but slid down in order to help. They all slightly rolled down near the bottom and soon stabilized themselves. "both of you are nuts and reckless" Danni said. Stanley chuckled "but you love us for it. Right sam" they both looked at the astonished girl. She couldn't speak. Then that's when the guys also laid their gaze on the funny looking object. It seemed to have dark viens all over it and it was quite small "im no genuis, but this does not look like an astroid" sam said in a hushed voice" Danni peered closer "thats the only explanation" Stan stared in amazement. "no it isnt" Sam frowned "what is it then, mr astromoligist" Stan could barely speak. "its.. Its a husk" all the expression left Sam's face. "you mean like a pod!?" Danni interrupted "i don't follow, guys" Stanley spoke as he crept closer "there has to be something inside" Danni's heart pounded "step back!" he yelled, but Stan already had his fingers, in a small crease of it. He quickly yelped with pain after yanking it opened a bit. He hit the dirt fiddling with his fingers. "are you trying to melt your fingers off, you idiot!" Danni yelled while kneeling to help his brother. "im fine" Stan said as his fingers swelled a little. Directly after, sam kicked the object open, releasing a fowl smell. She covered her mouth and nose & caughed a little. "dear god" Danni and Stan both said at the same time. It was for good reason. Inside the astroid laid something unimaginative.
