It has been 3 weeks since I came on the road with dad and since I met Jed. My dad and I still don't get along and our relationship seems to be getting worse, if that's even possible. He has already called my mother and told her, he feels sorry that she has had to put up with it so long.

As for Jed and I, we have become extremely close. I turned 18 last week and he flew all the way from Japan to come and see me in California. Though I have to say he seems to be very happy with the fact I'm now 18.

And because I am 18, I have been using that to my advantage and going out almost every night when Jed comes into the same city I'm in. My dad can no longer keep me indoors or in his sight, I'm a fully legal adult! Dad has already met Jed once, when Jed came and got me from the hotel we were staying at, he wasn't very impressed when he found out Jed was 20, but that was until I reminded him there is a 6 year age difference between him and Nicole and only 2 years between Jed and I.

As of right now Jed has decided to take me on a fun day out. We're currently at a fairground and let's just say he sucks at the games.

"Ha, I win again!" I scream with joy and he shakes his head.

"I grew up in a business minded family, games were not an option." He says.

"Awe, did the little rich boy get deprived of his childhood, with his fancy homes and toys?" I say in a baby voice.

"You're one to talk, your dad has money, you're telling me you were never spoiled?!" He exclaims and I shake my head. "No I wasn't actually."

"Why do I find that hard to believe?" He questions, "With my dad his career always came first." I say and Jed nods his head, "I understand that feeling."

We walk off and he grabs my hand I immediately blush. He stops suddenly and I look at him with a confused look. "What is it?" I ask. "Would you like to meet my family?" He asks and I freeze. Me meet his parents, we're not even dating!

"Are you sure?" I ask and he nods, "Yeah I'm 100% sure." I smile and say, "Sure, when?" His face brightens up, "Tomorrow night, I'll pick you up at 6." I nod my head, "OK."

We spend about an hour longer at the fairground and Jed takes me home. I go to sleep, nervous for tomorrow.

Next day

I'm waiting for Jed to come and pick me up and I have to say, I'M SO NERVOUS. What if they don't like me? I wouldn't be surprised not many people do, if you look at my record of arrests, insults, assaults and the list goes on and on...Wait a minute, a family as rich as that have probably done a background check on me to make sure I'm not a thief or a gold digger, well I'm screwed, well I'm not a gold digger, I have been known in my early, early youth to shoplift every now and again, mind you compared to everything else that's like getting a gold star in class as a kid if you sit quite for longer then 15 minutes.

I walk out of the hotel and see Jed, once again in a limo, holding the door open.

"Do you own an actual car?" I ask mockingly, "Unfortunately not, I have to be driven around everywhere, it's kind of what I command being a spoilt, rich kid and all." I laugh and he grins and I climb into the back of the limo, him climbing in after me.

We must have been driving for about 20 minutes when we turned up to a gigantic house. The limo comes to a halt and Jed climbs out, holding his hand out to me, helping me out.

"This is your house?!" I exclaim, "Well it's my parents, I have my own place now, but I grew up here." I laugh halfheartedly and the doors open, letting us enter. As soon as we walk in it reminds me of Mr Warbuck's house in Annie, out of nowhere from our left we hear a squeal.
