Riley tried running her eyes to see if this was all a dream. She looked around, panicked. The house in front of her, was her grandparents house. Just, many years younger.

"This..this has to be some sort of dream.. I need to wake up." She tried pinching her self. "Wake up... WAKE UP RILEY!"

"..hello?"

A familiar voice rang through Riley's ears. It was the voice of her father. She turned around to face her father. 17 year old Cory Matthews stood in front of her. He was wearing a white t shirt with a flannel over it and a jacket over THAT and some jeans. She looked down at what she was wearing, and realized this was not the correct century.

"Are you okay? Cor, she looks really confused. Offer to bring her inside. Give 'er some milk." Her uncle- Shawn Hunter was standing next to Cory.

Riley was speechless. She didn't know how she ended up outside of her grand parents house. She couldn't even reply to her young father and her young uncle. She sat down on the ground and just breathed.

Her father started to walk towards her, "What's you're name? My name is Cory, and his name is Shawn." Shawn gave Riley a little wave.

She was so full of questions. She could barely breathe.

"M-my name is...Riley."

"Riley, I like it!" Shawn faced Cory, motioned towards Riley and continued to say, "invite her inside."

"Riley do you want to come inside? You look really stressed."

"Yeah," she got up to her feet and wiped the leaves off of her legs, "let's go inside."

Going inside didn't really help Riley. There were pictures on the walls of the whole Matthews clan. Even her Aunt Morgan who she rarely see's was in the pictures, Cory and Eric rarely saw her too. She was on a time out for literally a whole season of my favorite show.

Cory and Shawn brought Riley into the living room and towards the kitchen. Cory went to the fridge to get some ice cubes out of the tray and got Riley a cold glass of water. Shawn had her sit down at the table, where she still was freaking out. Yet, she was more calm knowing her father didn't think Riley looked like a girl version of him.

Snapping Riley out of her thoughts, there was a cold glass of water slammed right in front of her. She smiled a thank you and proceeded to drink from the glass, which immediately calmed her nerves a little bit.

She didn't seem to notice that Cory was looking distressed while he was talking to Shawn. Riley was suddenly intrigued when she heard the word "Topanga" come out of Cory's mouth.

"Excuse me," she interrupted, "did you just say, Topanga?" The boys looked at her and Cory sighed and slumped into his seat.

"Cor, you never know. Riley can be able to help you with your problem." Shawn suggested nudging his friend.

Riley looked at the curly head boy sitting infront of her. He didnt look any different in her eyes. Same curly hair, brown eyes, but is in her time presently taller. She is a little shorter than him in the time she's in. She studied his expression, which seemed stressed and confused.

"Okay. Riley, I'm having some girl troubles and I dont know what to do." He started and looked down at his folded hands that were placed on his thigh, fidgeting his thumbs. "See, this girl, Topanga, I've known her my whole life. Me and her have always had this thing going on ever since we met. We met on the play ground September-"

Shawn nudged Cory and interrupted, signaling that he was getting off track. Riley giggled, itching to hear more, but she could ask about that later.

"Oh-right, uhm... Well, for a class trip, we took a trip to a ski lodge up in Vermont. Me and Topy were gonna have a good time..." He put his hands in the table. "Until, I sprained my ankle and had to stay inside the lodge for a day and miss out on spending time with her. This girl there, Lauren, helped me and my foot. A-And, she may have helped a little too much as well."

Riley was wide eyed at Cory. She didn't know this story, why hadn't her parent told her about this?!

"The day we were leaving, I realized that Lauren and I had some unsaid feelings towards each other. I-I never thought that I could have feelings for another girl besides Topanga, and I was certain that she and I were going to be together forever-"

"Off..topic.." Shawn mumbled under his breath and let his friend continue.

"Lauren and I had stayed up all night and talked to each other. We were talking about the city and the stars.. Just random things. And-And before I went on the bus, she..she kissed me. She kissed me. And... I didn't pull away."

"Does Topanga know?" Riley asked and Cory quickly nodded his head. "So I'm assuming she saw the kiss happen?"

"No. She didn't see it happen, she didn't even know Lauren and I had feelings for each other. You see, the night we were leaving the ski lodge, Lauren had written me a letter about her feelings for me and asking if I wanted something more. The letter had fallen out of my bag and Topanga found it and read it."

Riley's eyebrows widened in shock. How could someone open something that isn't theirs?! Besides the point, Riley nodded telling Cory to continue.

"Lauren also wrote that we kissed each other. Obviously Topanga read that and now she thinks I have feelings for Lauren. Which, honestly, I can't deny having."

Eyebrows stitching together in confusion, Riley fidgeted in her seat from hearing this new information. She had gone 16 years of her life without knowing this. How could they keep this from her?

"So, you and Topanga are broken up. How can I help your guys relationship?"

"I think you can help by...talking to her? I don't know. You're a girl. Talk to her." Shawn explained and then took a sip of water.

"Oh don't be crazy, hun! Of course you can stay here." Amy Matthews, Riley's Grandma, handed Riley a pillow and a blanket and guided her toward the guest room.

"I-It's okay. I promise. I can sleep on the couch!"

Amy continued to guide her to the guest bedroom. "The bathrooms are right next door to your bedroom. I'll let you borrow some clean clothes. You can shower and sleep in those. I'll be right back..." Amy left to get Riley clothes.

"I've been here before you know, it it looks different." Riley mumbled to herself, placing the dark maroon blanket on the guest bed and looking around the room. "Really different."

"You'll be using our schedules today. We first have English with Mr. Turner. Then, you can either come to math or science."

Riley nodded and then asked, "When is history?"

"Oh, history is last. With Mr. Feeny." Shawn and Cory both made a face and Riley chuckled. They didn't know how much that Feeny has affected their lives yet. Being high school seniors and almost graduating, they were pretty stupid.

Riley walked through the hallways in a maroon flannel with a black dress just above her knees. She wore black tights underneath and black combat boots. Her hair had its natural wave and her neck wore a rainbow colored choker. Amy and Morgan had took her shopping at the mall the other day and went to a store called "Forever 20". She really fit in with the whole "nineties grunge" look.

She walked into the bathroom and looked around. Pink. Walls. She gasped because pink is her fave color.

She looked into the mirror at herself and saw the door swing open. There stood two girls. One was 5'5, and had dark dark brown hair and was wearing a green sweater. And the other was a 5'1, light brown haired girl in a red sweater and a sad expression on her face.

Riley gasped and almost screamed "mom" out loud, but that would have been weird. So she turned around and faced Topanga. Topanga looked at Riley with a sad smile, Riley gave her her biggest open mouth smile. Riley couldn't contain her excitement. Her mother is beautiful young! No wonder where she got her great hair from.

"Hi, I'm new. My name is Riley. Is yours Topanga?"
