Chapter 2: KATNISS' DREAM

Katniss slouched on the greensofa in the sala. Beside it was a small table where a glass of veggie juice and a sliced of banana cake was placed. She was listening to country music on the radio as she waited for Fraine and Natasha to come. The silence and coldness of the night with just the melody of mellow music can be heard made her fall asleep. She had a dream.

Walking around the small town of Cambridge , Katniss wondered why there were no people around. Not even sound of birds singing nor dogs barking. Only the sound of the wind blowing, the sound of her breathing and her heart beats can be heard. No more other sounds. It was getting late and she felt afraid. She shivered because the wind started to get cold. She just sung a lullaby to calm her down but then she was interrupted when a thunder-like sound uttered, she looked around and saw nothing. After a second she heard the sound again , she looked around and she saw big round balls coming her way. She ran as fast as she could. Running through the curved road, the town seemed to disappear. It was already dark so she did not notice the change around her. She was  in a silent dark forest. She shouted for help but no one heard her. As she was walking  to the north , she saw  big old house. It was a bungalow. She ran towards it and knocked on its door.

"Help. Help. Help." she shouted. She knocked hard against the door because it was locked. She kept on banging and when she felt the fatigue she stopped. After a while the door opened, many butterflies went out from the door and attacked her. She tried to run but that very moment the dream was over.

"Katniss! Katniss! Wake up. You're having a nightmare." Fraine tried to wake Katniss from her sleep.

 "Aaah! Hah. Hah. Hah!" Katniss tried to catched her breath when she woked up. 

 "Natasha! Get some water for Katniss! Fast!" Fraine shouted.

 Giving the glass of water to Katniss, Natasha sat down beside Fraine on the sofa. 

 "What happened?" Natasha asked.

 "Katniss had a nightmare." Fraine answered. 

 "What is it all about Katniss? Can you share it to us?" Fraine added.

 "I was in a place called Cambridge Downtown."

"Cambridge Downtown?" Natasha asked curiously.

"Yes. Thats what I saw in a newspaper that I held in my dream." Katniss continued.

"There were no people, not even animals can be seen. When the darkness eats the sun, big balls tried to ran after me so I ran very fast too. I saw a bungalow at the middle of a forest and knocked on its door but there was no answer but after a while of dragging, the door opened and many butterflies came out and attacked me." Katniss told while she shivered. Beside her were Fraine who tried to calm her down.

Thinking on what the dream was trying to tell, Fraine turned on the television. The channel is on Discovery Channel. "Oh, wait. I am sure that you dreamed about butterflies because it was the last thing that you watched in the television before you fell a sleep, huh?" 

 "No Fraine. I don't think so. That place, Cambridge Downtown, is familiar to me. I think Katniss dream have really something to tell." Natasha poked in.
