Jala pov

« 2 months later »

Saturday Morning @10:07 a.m.

I rolled out of my bed and took a quick fifteen minute shower. I was beyond happy, today was my baby's Fourth birthday. I put on my undergarments and some comfortable clothes. I walked down to Ariana's room and began shaking her lightly. Her eyes popped open.

"MOMMY I TURNED FOUR TODAY!!!!" She squealed in excitement jumping up and down on the bed. I giggled.

"Come on baby, I need to run your bath water so we can go get something some breakfast from wherever you like baby." I said kissing her nose. She giggled as I picked her up, taking her to the bathroom. I ran some water, and put bubbles in it. I helped Ari take off her clothes and put her in the bath tub. Truth is, I had to get her out of the house so the decorators could come set up for Princess themed party. After she finished bathing I wrapped her in a towel and got her out.

"What does mommy baby want to wear today?" I asked as we made our way to her room.

She ran to her closet for a minute as I sat on her bed waiting for her.

She came back with a red and black 23 bulls jersey, some high waisted jean shorts and her black timbs. I got up and tried to help her put on her clothes.

"No mommy, I a big girl today, now go find your clothes." I giggled a little before walking to my room. I walked into my closet to find my outfit which consisted of a white fitted tanktop, some cut up light blue jean pants, and my black, dark blue and white huaraches. And to top it off and tied a blue and black plaid long sleeve around my waist.

"Ari come on so I can do your hair!" I yelled from the hallway. She came running out of her room looking cute.

"How you want your hair baby?" I asked removing it from the pony tail holder.

"Ooo I want it wanded mommy." She smiled. I nodded and 2 hours later both of our hair was wanded. I looked at the time and it was 12:52.

And the workers for Ariana's party came @ 1 o'clock. Oh lord, we had to get going now. I applied some mascara and black MAC lipstick as Ariana put on some carmax. I grabbed my white MK purse. Picked Ari up and went downstairs.

"Anything you need before we leave?" I asked. She shook her head no as I put her down. We leave out the house and get into the car and go to ihop.

* 2 hours later *

We were just now pulling back up to the house, and the road was filled to the capacity w cars.

"Mommy why are there so many cars parked at our hwouse." Ariana asked as we got out of the car.

"I don't know baby, let's go see." I said. She nodded before taking off inside of the house. When we got to the patio doors, she slid them open.

"SUPRISE!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARIANA!!" Everyone yelled. I looked around and there was a Princess water slide, a bouncy house, pink and green balloons tied to chairs everywhere, two tables full of food and other treats. And on a tall stand, was the big princess cake I had bought and like a few hundred presents stacked around it. I was awe.

I looked down to see Ariana crying.

"Baby why are you crying? its suppose to be your day." I said bending down to reach her level.

"Mommy you did all thwis for me?" She asked looking down.

"Yeah baby, all this is for you." I smiled caressing her cheek.

"Ari!!!!!!" Mariah and a whole bunch of other kids ran up to us. Ariana soon ran off with them.

"Aww are you sad she turned 4?" Gabrielle laughed loudly.

"Gabby shut up." I said pinching her forearm. She yelped.

"Where's the birthday girl?" Quan asked coming out of nowhere hugging me.

"I think she went to the water slide." I say, he nidded before walking over there.

"Jala?" I turned around to see my mom, Tahja, Kj, Kyla, Kameron, August, Egypt, Nai, Majinay, and Mr. Marcus.

"Hey Auggggg." I say hugging him. I also hugged my nieces and nephew. The reason why I only hugged august was because he's the only one that has talked or called to check up on me in the past 5 months.

"Wassup faaaavorite sister." He said hugging me tightly. I smiled.

"Um Jala, where do we put the presents." My " mom " asked. I pointed to where they were atacked around the cake.

Nalijah POV

I had just made it back to Florida and I was pulling up into the driveway of me and Jala's house. I knew I had a lot of explaining to do for why I wasn't here over the last five months. Cam had already made it to the party, so I was riding solo.

When I pulled up, I smoothed down my white tshirt, my khaki joggers, and my white huaraches. I fixed the rolex around my wrist and the gold chain around my neck. I grabbed Ariana's presents from the backseat. I walked through the gate and handed the presents to august and he took them where the others was.

I looked around for Jala. I then seen her laughing with Gabby and Cam. I quickly walked over so she couldn't see me.

"Jala?" I said. Gabby and Cam took the hint that we needed to talk and they walked away.

"What are you even doing her." She asked flipping her hair and rolled her eyes.

"It's my daughter's fourth birthday, you think I would miss this." I frowned. She finally turned and faced me.

"Yeah I thought you would since you made no effort to see her from the past five months." She rolled her eyes.

"Comeon J, I'm sorry. Man we was in some deep shit in the A . We was at war with some nigga name Tyler, he said something bout cause I took his girl. So I had to stay away for awhile cause I honestly didn't want you or Ari to get hurt ma." I said. She sighed before walking away.

"She didn't believe you man?" Cam asked me as I took a seat. I shook my head no.

"Ion think so man, she just walked away." I said.

"Where's Ariana tho?" I asked as he pointed to a bounce house. I smiled as I walked over to it.

It took her a minute or two to look over at me and when she did......

"DADDY!!!!" she screamed to the top of her lungs, jumping out of the bounce house.

She jumped in my arms and hugged me tightly. A huge smile immediately grew on my face as I hugged her back giving her a kiss.

"Happy birthday bae, I missed you." I say as a tear rolled down my face.

"Thank you daddy, and I miss you more." She said pushing her head farther in my neck.
