I smiled down as I watched Jayden drink the last little bit of his bottle. I was still so amazed that I had pushed. out a handsome baby boy. I burped him before laying him back in his crib.

I cut the baby monitor on before making my way to get Ariana ready for school. She had just started Kindergarten a couple of days ago and she was excited.

"Ari, get up baby. Time for school." I said walking into her room and removing the cover that was almost covering her head.
"I'm already up mommy." She giggled. see what i mean. 😂
"Let's put on your clothes then we'll get you some captain crunch." I said kissing her forehead. She excitedly got out of bed and ran into her walk in closet to find her something to wear.
She ran out holding a black pencil skirt, a white collar shirt and black shoes.
"Now go wash your face and brush your teeth. Put on your clothes then come downstairs." I said. She nodded before running to her bathroom.
I walked back to Jayden's to see him looking up at the ceiling and sucking his little pacifier.
"Hey mama's baby." I cooed picking him up and rocking him. He spit his pacifier out before smirking at me. He was gonna be a mess, looking just like his no good ass daddy.
I rolled my eyes thinking of Nalijah. He's only been by four times to see Jayden since we left the hospital. I wasn't pushing the issue of him seeing Ariana because she was my child. Although she had grown to love him like a father. The streets had his head gone. I was honestly regretting being with him, but i was thankful to be blessed with a beautiful baby boy. He had moved out so it was just me, Ariana, and Jayden. I missed him a lot but i refused to chased someone who didn't love nobody but the streets.
