I'm a little worried for Zoe, she's my little sister and lately she has been coming home with bruises everywhere and scratch marks. She uses excuses like "I fell" or "I ran into the wall" or "I fell out of a tree" I can tell she's lying. I know my little sister very well, also cause she's my world. I decide to talk to her when she gets home from her boyfriends house.
-45 minutes later-
I hear the door open and close and see Zoe. Once again with more bruises. "Zoe come here please" I say. She comes and stands in front of me.
"Tell me the truth please" I say. She nods. "Is he doing this to you?" I ask. Tears start welling in her eyes. She nods. I embrace her in a hug and we stand there while she sobs in my chest. Dad comes downstairs. "Hey kids- Zoe baby what's wrong?" He asks. "It's okay Dad I got it" I say. "Okay bud" he says. "Come on baby sis" I say, walking her upstairs to my room. I open the door and close it behind me. I lay her down on my bed and I lay beside her. "Goodnight Zo I love you" I say. "Goodnight Jakob I love you too" she says.

Omg that was so cute I don't think They knew I was in the kitchen when they had that conversation. But I heard everything. I'm glad I have good kids.
