Kylie says:
I have a best friend who has a crush on me and I also like him. We've been "casually dating" meaning we're dating but its not official yet, so that way if something goes array, it's easier to go back to the friendship. My problem is, he's cheated on girls before and he's told me if only cheats on the ones that cheat on him. One of my slightly slutty friends also told him yesterday she has a crush on him. He told me this and said he didn't feel the same but it's still hard to trust him sometimes. We've also decided not quite yet to tell our families, because we live only a few houses away from one another and that would put more restriction on hanging out with one another.
My worry with this is that I'm making a mistake in dating him. He has an iffy past and for the most part I trust him but there's still that small hint of doubt. Also, a year ago, I broke up with a guy I had been dating for two years. Two months ago, I broke up with a guy I had been dating for about nine months. I felt I've had enough time to myself and am ready for this new relationship because it's casual and with my best friend. Should I take more time to myself? We've been going incredibly slow and it feels very familiar and comfortable thus far but what about down the road?
Please help!
