The group drove back to their apartments in Henry's old car. The moon was beginning to rise from behind the inn as the team walked into Henry's room. Amy shivered and zipped up her jacket. The cold autumn air was coming in through the apartment window that Henry had forgotten to close and there were dried leaves all over the floor. He quickly rushed over to the window to shut it, locking it shortly after.

"So, what did we find?" asked The Doctor. Amy grunted with effort as she spilled hundreds of newspaper articles, crime scene pictures, and police reports all over the coffee table.

"Don't ask how I got these," she said, folding up her Police Officer outfit.

"What's interesting," Rory started, "Is that all of these cases are from all over the world. They don't target a specific area or a specific group of people, these things have been happening all around the globe. Apparently, the police have been trying to cover it up to avoid panic, but at this rate, they won't be able to cover up this mess for long."

"You're right," added Henry. "The only repeated pattern I see is that all these victims seem to have been alone when the paralysis struck."

"So obviously it couldn't have been a person or a group of people who did this," justified Amy. "Maybe it was a disease nobody knew about?"

"But all of these people were perfectly healthy! I highly doubt there's a disease containing no symptoms that could cause this," argued Rory.

"I think Amy's right about it not being a group of people," sighed the old man. "They would have been caught already. Besides, how could a group of people do this much damage in so little time. They'd have to travel non-stop. Also, what could they have used to paralyze the victims? Poison?"

"Unlikely" explained The Doctor. "It would have shown up on the patient's analysis or scans."

"Maybe it was something bigger than this. Something us humans aren't very experienced with," gasped Amy.

Henry scoffed. "Are you suggesting something supernatural did this? But that's impossible! There's no such thing! We need to take this seriously! Lives are in danger!"

"Doctor, I think Amy's right," said Rory. "I mean, what else could it be."

"You people are mental! I'm not putting my granddaughter's health on the line just because you hooligans decided to base your evidence on science fiction! This is absurd!"

"Well, there's only one way to find out," announced The Doctor. "But first, I think you should tell us Mr. Hall, why are you here?"

"Why do you mean why am I here? This is my apartment. Why are you here?"
Amy was quick to cut in. "I think what The Doctor means is, why are you staying at an inn? According to the reports, you lived with your granddaughter. Shouldn't you be living there?"

"And," added Rory. "We've heard from outside sources that you usually move from place to place every day. Why do that when you have a home already?"

"I don't have to justify my decisions to you!" yelled the old man. His blood was starting to boil as he was losing his temper.

"Maybe it's cause you're scared." At that moment, Henry stopped breathing. He slowly turned to face the person who's those words belonged to. He saw The Doctor standing against a dark corner of the room, his hair covering his eyes as he looked down at his sonic screwdriver.

"How... dare you! How dare you make such an accusation?! I doubt you've ever arrived home from a simple trip to the grocery store to find your granddaughter paralyzed on the ground!"
