We left the house exactly an hour later than the time Iker told us when we would leave. I admit it was a little irritating that he lied to us but I understand he made us leave an hour earlier because the house was hectic during the the early hours. Priya was skipping over from the guest room to the main house, trying to look for her pair of earrings. My parents checked out from the motel in town and came here really early. My mother and Maria were preparing a few sandwiches and other snacks for the road trip. Jose hired a flash black Mercedes van which could fit every one in since no one really had a spare car besides Iker's.

I finished packing after getting dressed in a simple grey jumper and light blue boyfriend jeans. My glasses were slightly smudged so I spent a minute just cleaning the lenses and rim. Now I'm starting to miss my contacts. At first I didn't mind these glasses but now I'm starting to miss them.

While everyone else was busy running around like headless chicken, I was relaxing by the pool with my feet in the water. A sudden release of laughter escaped my lips when my mind wondered over the moments spared last night. Sergio was so scared last night. Now I know why he was never around whenever Jose told scary camp fire stories when we were kids.

Wait.

I shook my head lightly, staring at my reflection on the wavy surface. Why am I acting weird? Shouldn't I be laughing? If we were still kids I'd be blackmailing him about it. Was it because we weren't kids anymore? I'm sure that's it. I'm much more mature now. But why am I so attached to it. I need to switch things around before things start to get awkward again.

My eyes suddenly caught movement walking around the pool infront of me. It was Sergio. He was on the phone, sunglasses covering his eyes, also he wore red pump slips on. He was already dressed for going to the beach with swim trunks and a loose white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled above his elbows.

Then I suddenly thought of an idea

"Hey Sergio!"

He turned his head lightly at me before pointing towards his phone then to his lips, in attempts to tell me to keep quiet. I smirked before standing up on my feet, the droplets of water still dripping down my bare legs.

"Hey Goldilocks!" I yelled louder, making him stop in his track. Sergio didn't turn to face me though but I knew he heard me. So, I decided to add more flame to the fire. "I think we need to change your nickname now since Goldilocks was such a brave young girl. You're just putting her name in shame," I sighed in pretense before tapping my chin. "I got it! Maybe I should just call you Chicken Little since you know," I shrugged. "Well you're sort of a chicken."

Sergio didn't move a muscle but I wasn't losing patience.

I tucked my hand under my arms and began to make chicken noises, nudging my head back and forth. "Oh look at me, I'm such a chicken, I can't even handle a low budget horror film for only five seconds.", I began to imitate Sergio, the tone of his voice and the accent. "Oh! Dios mío this, Dios mío that!"

Finally, just as I thought my plan wasn't going to work, Sergio tucked his phone into his pocket. He was taking his time, but I could almost sense the radiating anger even from across the pool. He turned so he was facing directly at me. I crossed my arms, making the smirk on my face obvious.

He pointed at me before drawing a line across his throat with his thumb.

I gasped dramatically, "Oh now I'm scared! Where are the cushions! Why aren't there no cushions--"
