Sometimes I wish God wouldn't play such a tough game on me. My life is actually a dice and each side has a series of fortunes and misfortunes. In my case, I can only predict that all sides have misfortunes right now because my life sucks at the moment. Not only was I in the same car as Sergio alone, but also in the same car as Teresa. This is Teresa's car and we somehow split up the group that was headed back home and Derek & I got picked to go with them since Teresa's decided to pay a visit. These two combined make a very perfectly off tuned duet singing pair.
I kept clamping my palms over my poor ears because I just couldn't handle how loud they were singing. My hair cells in ears were almost extinct. They didn't even let the window down so every sound waves bounced around the car and slapped my ear drums right in the face.
It was a nightmare.
Derek was sitting next to me, almost mirroring my gestures, kept complaining the whole way through.
"Can you guys please tone it down--"
They ignored him and kept hollering out their Spanish song. I almost felt like I was going to pull my hair out. It drove me to reach over and turn the radio off in one swift movement. The car went silent as I went back to my seat, my hands rubbing my face in frustration.
"Can we stop over for a break?" It sounded more like a request than a question but that was the point. I sighed, "Please."
I saw Sergio grinning at me in the mirror but I looked away because that grin on his face wasn't helping the situation.
Later, he pulled up into a little town which was quiet an adorable little place actually. He pulled over and within a split second I quickly jumped out of the car, stretched my limbs and smiled with my eyes closed.
Salvation, at last.
"Sonya, come on!" Teresa called out.
I looked over to see them heading towards a tiny cafe. Teresa quickly came by my side, her silk black hair bouncing as she came to loops her arms with mine. She dragged me with her until we came into the cafe.
There was a fan on the ceiling that was making a really annoying squeaky sound but the cafe itself looked lovely. It had mosaic theme everywhere. The doors were coated with mosaic design of sunflowers. The floor painted a pathway of clouds. It was so breathtaking, I found myself gazing.
This cant be done by a machine. This was hand made and crafted to perfection.I quickly ran back to the car and grabbed my camera from the trunk. I asked Teresa if shr could get permission from the cafe owner and she gladly allowed me.
So i began snapping pictures of the cafe. It was a built in exhibition. I was lost in my own world. I almost wanted to go and see other cafes.

"That's almost twenty so everyone pitch in five dollars." I said while taking out my wallet.
I offered to pay for Teresa's share and Derek was quick to pay for Sonya's. I just shrugged off his little statement before handing the money. In return we got our bags of Spanish omellete and bread.
"Wait, where's Sonya?",Teresa asked as she began looking around frantically.
Derek was also looking around too. He grabbed his phone out but hissed before turning it back off.
"This place doesn't even have good networking. I'll just go look around, she might be close by."
"You're going to get lost. This town may be small but you can still easily get lost here." I pointed out. Derek squinted his eyes in suspicion at me but I kept a blank stare. "We don't need two foreigners lost now do we?"
