Chapter 7

Elsa P.O.V

Ignoring Jack, I walked right past him and to class. I didn't want to be late. "Elsa..?" I heard someone say. The female voice sounded gentle yet familiar. I turned around. A black haired girl stood behind me. "Elsa!" She exclaimed and gave me a hug, obviously knowing me. Now I recognized her. Bright green eyes, dark hair. "...Erin!"

"Elsa! Have you forgotten me yet?" I heard her say. "No, of course not! How could I forget?" I lied a little, really. I didn't know she came to this school. But then she did. It's just a coincidence that we don't have any classes together. "So..." I started to say, but she quickly cut me off. "Oh, I gotta get to class. See you later." And with that, she ran away, leaving me standing alone in the hall, stunned.

"Well..." I mumbled to myself. "I wonder what's wrong with her." I walked towards my locker and opened it. The smell of peppermint chocolate greeted me. I took a deep breath, then grabbed some of my English books to read and went to class.

I looked around the classroom. I was here five minutes earlier, so I sat down in a corner and pulled out a book to read. After a while, I noticed Jack standing beside me. "Ahh?!" I gasped, blushing a little, blaming myself for not noticing him earlier. He saw me look at him and smiled. I blushed furiously. "Is the seat beside you available?" He asked, straight to the point. "Ugh... Yes it is... Why are you here?" I muttered. He flashed me a smile. "To sit with you silly." And he took the seat beside me.

Oh my, he must have been crazy... I did not even agree, just confirmed that the seat was available. I thought of telling him to leave, since everyone is staring at us now, but I'm still so confused. Why is he here, really?

After school I walked home, looking around hopefully for Erin, but she was nowhere to be seen. Maybe she had just went home already, I thought. But its not just about not finding Erin, instead I found another person - one that I didn't like much. And that person was no one other than Jack Frost.

Jack and I ended up walking home together. He was pretty shocked when he found out that we were neighbours. I was holding back laughter. After that, when we passed by the nearby park, Jack seemed to look at me then hesitate for a moment... He looked as if he was seriously considering something. I wonder what it was?
