Jack's P.O.V.

Over the next few weeks Elsa ignored me. I ignored her, too, though very reluctantly. I could tell that she was very stressed with schoolwork. She had dark shadows under her eyes and was always scribbling on a book or paper. I hardly see her look up from a worksheet she was holding.
Still, I liked her. My love for her never wavered. She looked cuter with the dark shadows under her eyes... or I thought so. But I have to admit...

One month...

Three months...

Five months...

I'm starting to give up. There's no point in liking her if she doesn't like me. Staring hopefully at her every day doesn't help.
As time passes... I have moved on, and I no longer like Elsa any more. I've now started to notice that the black-haired girl seemed so much more beautiful than when I first saw her... Or maybe it was because there was Elsa there to attract my attention last time, but her eyes seemed like they were glowing...

I sat down at the table, thinking. Maybe it was just because she's Elsa's cousin... No, deep inside my heart, I knew that I had feelings for her. I knew that I had to ask her out soon, she's so popular, or someone else will ask before me...

I made my decision. I'm going to ask her. Today. Right away. But how? I'm too embarrassed. And this relationship I'm about to start... It can't end up like Elsa! This time I'll have her! I'll have her forever!

Hmmm. I strolled towards an empty classroom. Where could she possibly be? I looked up, down, front, back and right, but there was no sign of her. Oh! I forgot a direction. I looked left. It was an empty classroom. Well, I've looked in almost all of the classrooms and they were empty, surely it wouldn't hurt to take a peek? I put a hand on the doorknob, but hesitated. All the other classrooms are empty, she must be in this one... What if she refused? What if... Don't worry, I told myself. It's just an empty classroom. There's nothing in there except for dusty tables.
I took a deep breath and opened the door quietly. I stuck a little of my head inside. At first sight it seemed that it was empty, but before I could heave a sigh of relief, I saw, in the corner of my eye, a dark-haired girl snogging a boy with messy, jet-black hair. Their lips were locked so fiercely that it was like they were glued together.

I froze.
